SONY - Holiday Window Program Red curled komatex makes a whimsical statement in the gift wrapped box design of the Sony holiday window program. Featured products were displayed on acrylic pedestals in acrylic white gift boxes that are internally lit. Printed snow window clings and artificial snow in the window floor finish off the gift giving story.

APPROACH• Retrofit the stores with aluminum frames that accept the massive prints• Silicone edged graphics pair with the aluminum frames for easy instal• Hanging elements are suspended from the track in front of the wall to create compelling

dimensional signag on a large scale.

edge fabric graphics over existing wall make room for impressive hero graphics

• Multi position ceiling tracks allow stores to hang dimensional graphic elements

CLIENT ASK• Design, engineer, and build the full window merchandise display for The Tannery,

highlighting the exclusive line for Sorel.

APPROACH• Worked with a mixture of metal, wood, lighting, graphics and frames to create a

beautiful rustic modern window presentation.

CLIENT ASK• Fabricate an invisible frame out of chicken wire• Create various sizes for store window versions• Allow for flexibility to change visual statement with various colored paper inserts and designs

APPROACH• Acrylic frames were designed to hold the wire taught and give structural support• A new UV gluing process was developed in order to maintain an invisible frame

CLIENT ASK• Create a festive holiday window for SONY’s flagship store in New York, as well as a

dozen other doors• Collaborate with an agency to execute an elaborate design

APPROACH• Floors of windows were lined with batting to emulate a snowy landscape• Corrugate boxes wrapped in white vinyl with red printed styrene bows and ribbons • Discrete clear acrylic stands float boxes and products for a magical effect

• Printed window graphics add another layer of dimension to the presentation

GIFT BOXES

• White acrylic boxes with printed and dimensional ribbon detail make dramatic pedestals

• LED lights hidden within the boxes illuminate the product from beneath

CURLING RIBBON

• Red EPVC was heat formed by hand and suspended on clear monofiliment to create a “wow” element that incorporated SONY’s red ribbon holiday design

APPROACH• Full merchandising analysis to understand

gondola footprint• Based on our experience working with high

end cosmetic companies, designed a series of flexible trays, shelves and graphic elements

• Considered a variety of materials for construction and ease of shipment and assembly

MAC COSMETICS

FLAMINGOS

CLIENT ASK• Develop a solution for creating a free-standing

flock of life size flamingos for store windows

APPROACH• Using the process of routing the die cut with a

beveled edge and then printing the white EPVC, all visible edges were eliminated from the birds

• Routed channels on the back side of each half of a bird, metal rods were embedded between the sandwiched pieces

• Heavy metal bases keep the flamingos upright and stable

CLIENT ASK• Design and engineer a display for the newly launched Cat Ear Headphones• Must utilize existing free standing fixture• Incorporate lighting elements into the stand and backer

APPROACH• Engineered a powder coated aluminum base to house color changing LED lights• Utilized temporary materials with print to skin the existing fixture• Leveraged a variety of materials (styrene, falcon board, PETG) to create a hollow

die cut backer with translucent surfaces to illuminate specific areas of the larger than life headphones.

CLIENT ASK• Design and produce an iconic, highly attractive, pair of massive

replica headphones for trade show• The display must incorporate lighting and large TV screen with sound• Must be completed within a 3 week timeline

APPROACH• Leveraged our highly skilled prototyping team to craft the larger than

life replica based on 3D models produced in house• Incorporated a variety of materials (EPVC, plywood, PETG, foam, faux

leather, metal base)

TABLE TOP DISPLAYS

• In addition to the giant headphones, the ask also included 4 custom stands to display the actual product

• RGB LED lights were programmed to color match the headphones

• A combination of black P95 and clear acrylic were used for the stands

AMERICAN STANDARD

FIXTURINGCLIENT ASK• Create a showroom experience highlighting American Standard’s new high end products

APPROACH• Fixture wall able to support a variety of different product configurations• Custom gondola built to support installation of a variety of sinks and toilets• All components built to nest for most economical shipping• Partnered to install 150 independent and unique showroom locations

FEATURES• Metal wall attachments with clear acrylic product holders• Dimensional headers made from powder coated metal with white acrylic letters• Custom metal slat wall

CLIENT ASK• Rethink the presentation spaces at the American

Standard headquarters in New Jersey.• Come up with ways to communicate the compa-

ny history, display different product collections, and organize the space.

APPROACH• Designed a space the utilized architectural

elements, graphics, and robust fixturing to create an elegant and organized show room space.

APPROACH• Focused on inexpensive and light weight materials to meet the

requirements of the budget• Engineered an interlocking structure for 1-day installation• Explored technologies for remotely controlling color changing

CLIENT ASK• Create a whimsical solution for a bedroom

environment• Client did not want to use real furniture• Try to surprise shoppers with an unconventional

take on illustrating what was real• Displays needed to compliment but not mimic

product patterns

APPROACH• Explored multiple creative solutions of showing

objects on unconventional materials• Printed boxes, pop up card, acrylic boxes• Simple, cute solution of sketched furniture and

decor on expanded PVC boxes

CLIENT ASK• Take the Whim concept to the next level with a

full build out apartment show piece in Macy’s State Street, Chicago.

APPROACH• Used a combination of materials to construct

walls, kitchen and dining room furniture, and dimensional printed elements.

• Developed graphics that carried the look and feel of the Whim brand into an all new environment.
