All Juniors and Seniors that have not registered to vote need to bring their drivers license, learners permit, or State ID card with them on Friday.

The baseball program is running a Stand Up to Cancer fundraiser to help 3 local families pay for part of their cancer treatments. You can purchase a Stand Up to Cancer card for $3 to represent someone you know whom has been effected by cancer, or you can simply donate to the cause. See Coach Light or Coach Wisneski during lunch to buy a card or make a donation. If we raise $3,000 then Coach Wisneski will shave his head during lunch one afternoon in the courtyard.

GUIDANCE

Seniors, Lake Sumter will be here next Wednesday, April 26th, from 8-11 to register for Fall Admission. Passes will go out that morning. If you have not signed up, please see Mrs. Parisoe in Guidance before Friday. You will need your social security number.

You will be right more than 90% of the time by supposing that a verb beginning with re- means to do something again namely, the action of the verb that comes after re-. Not so with recapitulate, a polysemous verb whose main meaning is "summarize." An early and now obsolete meaning of capitulate is probably to blame: its first meaning was "draw up in chapters, or under heads or articles."

1521 - Martin Luther confronted the emperor Charles V in the Diet of Worms and refused to retract his views that led to his excommunication.
