3Update on ASHRM Affiliation Agreement

Level I Criteria January 31, 2014

Criteria for Level I Status1The chapter must have at least 20 members*.2Chapters with less than 100 members must have at least 15 members who are also ASHRM members*. Why a surplus?

Primary item over-budgeted is scholarships. We increased the line item for scholarships this year to $15,350 but received no applicants for ASHRM or CPHRM, and only one applicant in the new other scholarship category. We also saved money on our website expenses, even with the new website support. Other savings: unused items such as ASHRM reception, extra Board meeting; lower than anticipated expenses such as chapter education days, board member subsidy for Regional.
