This Week at Tarago Public School
also Tuesday. As always,
students need a library bag to
borrow.
Hats
The weather has been hot and
the sun is still quite strong. This
term our no hat, play in the COLA
policy is in force. This means
students who do not have a broad
brimmed hat will be required to
play in the COLA. This gives
students an excellent shaded
alternative play area. School hats
are available at office for $12.00.
Absences
REMINDER
It is a legal requirement for
parents to notify the reason for a
students absence from school. If
you are sent an absence letter
regarding an unexplained
absence, please advise reason on
letter, sign and return to school.
Many letters are going home and
not being returned. Booklets to
explain absences can be collected
from the office.
P&C Meeting
The next P&C Meeting, will be held
on Tuesday 5th March 2019 at
3.30pm. Please come along and
consider how you can help and sup-
port the students of Tarago Public
School.

News from K-2
Last Friday K-2 celebrated the end of the Chinese New Year by completing the dragons they have been making from recycled materials. They were able to taste of some New Years treats kindly donated by Celeste's mum. This week homework has started. Homework books need to come back to school each Friday. This week we have been working on Subtraction in Maths and have continued our unit on water in Science. I am looking forward to seeing the children's work at the Tarago Show this Sunday.
