EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE PHONE

(603) 507-0569

Notes from the Office: Dear May, please bring no more snow - just flowers & warm days!!! We hope everyone got an opportunity to do some spring cleanup with the onsitedumpsters last week. Thank you all for participating & caring so much about yourcommunity. We will be starting our 4-sided lot inspections in May. As many of you know, werelaxed compliance requirements throughout the covid pandemic. We understand weare just coming out of what seems like a never-ending winter & a lot of you areprobably planning for projects that may just not have happened yet when we comearound. If you receive a letter, please feel free to let us know if you have any obstacleswhich will prevent you from making needed improvements. We will work with you tothe best of our ability. Oil tank inspections are also still in progress. If you see a man in your yard wearinga safety vest, it is Rod conducting these inspections. You may have noticed several projects going on throughout the park:

We are wrapping up work on the clubhouse. We thought we were done aswe had reached our budget but, then were permitted to do make significant, additional improvements! That was great news but, did slow down completion. We fully expect a May reopening – details to follow in a separate notice. Ourbiggest challenge is the new kitchen countertops. We cannot have them installeduntil May 17th but, I think we can work around that should the need arise . We are top dressing the area behind the clubhouse to even out the ground abit more. We will be installing some sitting/picnic areas as well. The mailhouse is in progress & should be installed by the end of May or verybeginning of June. We will be following up with each of you as you will all neednew keys! We have demolished the old maintenance shop & will be ripping out the oldconcrete, etc. We will be redesigning the pump station area. We do have some rock crushing going on in the pit & I realize it is very loud& rumbles windows. I am very sorry & am assured this will be done in one week. We will be working on landscaping & signage at the entrance, clubhouse, &various common areas throughout the park this season. NOTE: The mulch in the parking lot is for staff use only. We cannot give thatout at this time.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the Moms out there! We hope you can hug yourchildren & grandchildren this year!!!

Angel FundThanks so very much to everyone who has donated to the Angel Fund! So far this year, we have paid out 5 rents for our residents and sent out numerous cards with enclosed gift cards to those who have been hospitalized or have lost a loved one. We have never had to turn anyone away and this is because of all of you! It is so gratifying to live in such a caring community!

Please continue to think of us and donate whenever possible. Also, continue to keep us updated on who we need to send a note/ gift card to. It’s important that we don’t forget anyone!

Thank you so much to those of you who donate monthly!!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAYfrom your Angel Fund committee:

Mrs Perfectly Capable Need help

Personal Note: I wish to thanks everyone for your kind support and friendship through this past year as I cared for my ex-husband giving him the best end of life possible. Also, thank you for the kind notes, cards and phone calls for both the passing of Michael and for the flowers, cards and support I received regarding my recent surgery. I am very proud to be a part of such a great caring community. Looking forward to getting back to “normal” or as close to it as possible beginning next week.

Most fondly,Lise

Spring looks like it is finally here. Flowers are blooming and birds are singing. We have tried to meet outside on Monday, but the weather did not want to help us with that. We are hoping to meet soon. Look to the skies and warmer weather and so that we can finally get together and get those hands moving.

Spring is here, I think!! One minute warmth, birds singing and breezes feel good. Then snow/rain mix and grounds covered. Oh well, New England- changes in a minute.

As we know the opening of the club house is still on hold - hopefully soon. Tilthen, keep the ideas in your head flowing so when we do get together-the creative ideas will flow onto the canvas.

Tara Kazoo Band

The Tara Kazoo Band had its first practice for the year with the sun on our faces and music all around--what could be better than that?? We shook off the winter doldrums with

"Bye, Bye Blackbird“

"Take Me Out to the Ballgame“

"Happy Days Are Here Again“

"The Good Old Summertime"!

And we reminisced about our own "younger days" with "Que Sera Sera" and "How Much is that Doggie"-- Doris Day and Patti Page favorites.

We are ready to bring some fun and joy to residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the area by playing for them. Why don't you join us??? Please call Karen at 948-1857 or talk to any of the Kazoo Band members.

Remember, all you have to do is hum, and we have a kazoo for you!!!!!

My Mother Kept A GardenMy Mother kept a garden,A garden of the heart. She planted all the good thingsThat gave my life its start. She turned me to the sunshineAnd encouraged me to dream.Fostering and nurturingThe seeds of self-esteem.And when the winds and rain came,She protected me enough. But not too much because she knewI’d need to stand up strong and tough. Her constant good exampleAlways taught me right from wrong.Markers for my pathwayThat will last a lifetime long.I am my Mother’s garden.I am her legacy. And I hope today she feels the loveReflected back from me.
