Subsea 7 shall provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Pre-Commissioning/RFO of the new riser and flowline system between Petrojarl Varg (FPSO) and Rev field.
The contract is for a 6km flexible flowline, one flowline jumper, a flexible riser, riser base and PLEM. The scope also includes ploughing and trenching services, de-burial and repositioning of an existing flowline, tie-in of products and installation of bend stiffener connection under the turret. All exposed sections of flowlines and structures will be protected.

Overview
The project will be executed from Subsea 7's office in Stavanger. Ploughing and trenching services will be supplied from Subsea 7 Aberdeen.
The Varg Field is located approximately 200km off the Norwegian coast line, West of Stavanger at a water depth of 84m.
There are currently no export facilities for gas, subsequently all associated gas since production started has been re-injected into the reservoir.
The plan is now to produce gas and have it transported for sale.
Key element of the project
Pre-engineering offshore survey (2012).
Supply of structures and flexible products.
Supply and installation of a Bend Stiffener Fixation unit under the turret of the FPSO.
Perform pre-installation ploughing services and de-burial of an existing flowline.
De-watering, disconnection and repositioning of an existing 10-inch flowline.
A 6-inch Flexible Riser to be installed in Restrained Lazy Wave configuration between Petrojarl Varg FPSO and Gas Export PLET.
Installation of one Riser base between riser and flowline.
Install 6km of 6-inch non insulated flexible flowline that will be trenched and buried.
One Gas Export PLEM to be installed between flexible flowline and Rev field.
Install a 10-inch Flexible jumper between new Gas Export PLEM at Rev field and existing 12-inch PLEM at REV field.
Installation of protection covers and rock.
Pre-commissioning of system.
