3 TYPES
• Literary– 1st selection
• Expository– 2nd selection
• Expository Cross– Cross between 1st and 2nd selection– 3rd selection is a visual work
• Only multiple choice
4 Possible Grades
EACH worth 3 POINTS!!!• 0 - Insufficient
– No points
• 1 - Partially Insufficient– 1 point
• 2 - Sufficient– 2 points
• 3 - Exemplary– 3 points
Insufficient• Not based on text• Does not address
question/answer another question
• Not reasonable• Too general or vague• Analyze text incorrectly• Incomplete or irrelevant
textual evidence
