IT IS A CLASS “C” FELONY What is a Class C felony?

(c) For a class C felony, by confinement in a state correctional institution for five years, or by a fine in an amount fixed by the court of ten thousand dollars, or by both such confinement and fine. This means if you are convicted of sending nude pictures of a minor (yourself or

anyone else), you could go to jail OR get fined thousands of dollars. You also have to register as a sex offender

You may think that what you’re sending and posting is private, but whatever goes on the Internet is permanent (yes, even Snapchat)

These “private” messages can land you in jail, cost you money, and can break relationships
