Faith Formation, 1st Communion

and Confirmation Registration Faith Formation will not register this Sunday, Au-gust 31st 2014 due to the Labor Day Holiday. We will resume registration again on Sunday, Septem-ber 7th in the Parish Hall from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Those students who will be making their Sac-rament of 1st Communion and Confirmation next year please bring a copy of the students baptism certificate. For more information please call or come by the office from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Tuesday - Thurs-day. Faith Formation Classes will start on Wednesday, September 17th at 6:30 PM in the Parish Hall. There will also be a Parent Orientation Meeting at that time. We will not register students on that day.

La Formación en la Fe no estará realizando matrículas este Domingo, 31 de Agosto 2014 por ser el Día del Trabajo. Reanudaremos las matrículas el Domingo, 7 de Septiembre en el Salón Parroquial entre las 11:00 am y la 1:30 pm. Aquellos estudiantes que recibirán el Sacramento de la Primera Comunión y de la Confirmación el próximo año deben traer por favor una copia del certificado de bautismo de cada estudiante. Para obtener más información, por favor llamar o pasar por la oficina de 8:30 AM a 3:30 PM de Martes a Jueves. Las clases de Formación en la Fe comenzarán el Miércoles, 17 de Septiembre a las 6:30 PM en el Salón Parroquial. También tendremos una reunión de orientación para padres familia a esa misma hora. Ese día no tendremos inscripción de estudiantes.

Confirmation Clothes Recycling With Back-to-School and fall around the corner, let us help clear up some closet space or storage area. Confirmation is seeking donations of gently used clothes for men, women, and children. All seasons are accepted. Please drop off the donations in the green clothes recycling bin next to the bbq pit near the soccer field during the month of September. Community Rosary Parishioners are invited to join the Confirmation candidates in saying the rosary on Saturday, September 6 at 4:30 PM in the Church. Peer Leaders Farewell! Peer leaders are a group of Confirmation alumni that mentor and serve the underclassmen of the parish. They seek holiness and develop an active and responsible role in the life and mission of the Church at OLMC as altar servers, lectors, and in faith formation. Confirmación Reciclaje de Ropa Con el regreso a la escuela y el otoño que ya pronto se acercan, ayudemos a limpiar un poco el espacio de nuestro armario o nuestra área de almacenamiento. El programa de Confirmación está pidiendo donaciones de ropa ligeramente usada bien sean de hombre, mujer o niños. Se acepta toda clase de ropa para cualquier temporada del año. Favor dejar sus donaciones en la papelera de reciclaje de la ropa que es de color verde y que se encuentra ubicado junto al lugar para hacer barbacoa allá en el campo de fútbol, lo cual podrá hacer durante el mes de Septiembre.

Parents who have their children in Faith Formation and are wanting to help with Faith Formation as a Catechist or Volunteer will get a discount.

50th Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Mass Celebration

The 2014 Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Mass honoring couples celebrating their Golden (50th) Anniversary of marriage in the Catholic Church will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart at 3:00 PM. Whether or not a couple attends the ceremony, they are eligible to receive a special recognition. Couples wishing to participate are asked to register online by visiting http://archgh.event.com/50weddinganniversary. Please fill out all the information requested and make sure that the name of each couple is typed exactly as they wish them to appear on their recognition. Deadline for registration is September 29 at midnight. Registration will not be processed if the information about the Catholic Wedding cannot be verified and/or if the fee of $25 dollars per couple is not received before September 29. Each couple will be able to bring a maximum of 6 family members or friends to the Mass.

Bodas de Oro Matrimoniales (Aniversario 50) Celebración de la Misa de Jubileo

La Misa de Jubileo por los Aniversarios Matrimoniales del 2014, que se realiza en honor a las parejas que celebran sus Bodas de Oro (50 años) de matrimonio en la Iglesia Católica tendrá lugar el Domingo, 26 de Octubre 2014 en la Co-Catedral del Sagrado Corazón a las 3:00 PM. Aunque la pareja no pueda asistir a la ceremonia, igualmente podrán recibir el reconocimiento especial. Se les pide a las parejas que deseen participar de dicha celebración que se inscriban por internet visitando la página: http://archgh.event.com/50weddinganniversary. Por favor complete toda la información solicitada y asegúrese de que el nombre de cada pareja esté escrito exactamente como quieren que aparezcan escritos en el documento de reconocimiento por sus bodas. La fecha límite de inscripción es el 29 de Septiembre a la medianoche. La inscripción no será procesada si la información acerca de la boda católica no puede ser verificada y/o si la cuota de $ 25 dólares por pareja no se recibe antes del 29 de Septiembre. Cada pareja tendrá autorización para llevar a la Misa un máximo de 6 miembros de la familia o amigos.
