While talking to His disciples,JESUS pointed out to them thatthey should be less concerned withknowing the exact date of Hisreturn and more concerned with

being prepared: And he said unto them, “It is not for youto know the times or the seasons which the Father hathput in His own power.” [Acts 1:7] (Likewise, those who read this articlebetter take heed to what the Lord is saying). After the disciples askedJESUS when He was going to return, they also asked for other signsincluding the coming end of the world (as we know it). [Matthew 24:3]

The first thing JESUS said in response was: “Take heed that no mandeceive you!” [Matthew24:4] JESUS knew that many false prophetswould come agreeing that JESUS is the Christ or they would even try toconvince you that theythemselves are the sav-ior/Messiah, but woulddeceive many, not givingyou the total true word ofGOD. [Matthew 24:5]VS.6: “ye shall hear of warsand rumors of wars: see thatye be not troubled: for allthese must come to pass,but the end is not yet. VS. 7“For nation shall riseagainst nation and kingdomagainst kingdom.”

WARS (Big, Little, andEthnic)- Escalating vio-lence and increased law-lessness. Today’s world isfull of widespread wars andrumors of wars. There aremany ethnic wars taking

place- not only in ex-Yugoslavia (Bosnia, Serbia,Kosovo), but also in the ex-U.S.S.R. (Russia) andmany places in Africa and Asia. There are approxi-mately 30 wars (give or take a few), now beingfought around the world! (See Exhibit A) Certainlythe United States is not alien to race riots and ethnicbloodshed. Have you noticed the completely inex-

plicable outbreak of violence- random shootings, murders and masskillings? JESUS CHRIST prophesied this societal breakdown justbefore HIS return: [Matthew 24:12]

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall waxcold.”

In the United States, we used to think we were a Christian society,perhaps some still do. Look at one section of the nation’s national

anthem : “One Nation UnderGod ….” But when you really observe today’s leisuretime entertainment, such asT.V., movies, videos andvideo games, you’ll see thatthey rivaled ancient Rome’slust for sex, drugs (includingdrug abuse), violence andbrutality. In the book ofTimothy, the Apostle Paulwas inspired to explain whatwill be made manifest inthese days/end times. [2 Timothy 3: 1-5]

parents, unthankful, unholy, [VS.3] Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those thatare good, [VS.4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasuresmore than lovers of GOD; [VS.5] Having a form of godliness, butdenying the power thereof: from such, turn away.

Paul also told the Galatians that such things are works of theflesh, and anyone who practices such things cannot inherit the king-dom of GOD [Galatians 5: 19-21] “Now the works of the flesh aremanifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciv-ious, [VS.20] idolatry, witchcraft, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,[VS.21] envyings, murder, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: ofthe which, I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, thatthey which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of GOD.”

Civil hatred, and intercommunity struggles will increase. Yes,there are little wars (conflicts), and there will be big wars. All this

striving and pushing will finally result in a great world war whichwill culminate at the battle of Armageddon in the Jeezreel Valley/Valley of Jehoshaphat/ Valley of Decision (Revelation16:16, Joel3:1-2, 9-14, Zechariah 12: 9-11); at which point Christ will return(Zechariah 14: 1-9, Matthew 24: 29-30, Revelation 19, 20: 4). Thereare approximately 124 armed forces that could be involved. In Lukethe twenty first chapter, JESUS states: [VS. 31]

“So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know yethat the kingdom of GOD is at hand.[VS.32] Verily I say unto you,this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.” Understand,that JESUS is letting us know the generation that begins to see andexperience all the things mentioned in these chapters (Matthew 24,Luke 21, and Mark 13), will not pass away but will be around to seethe return of our Lord and Savior, JESUS the Christ. What a greatand terrible day this will be. Remember, JESUS cannot and will notreturn until all of the afore mentioned prophecy is fulfilled. It is written in the book of Revelation Chapter 13; no man will beable to buy nor sell anything unless they take the mark of the beast;either on their foreheads or on their right hand. (Chapter 13: 16-17)

Has the time come? Has man taken this idea from the book ofRevelation, or are they using this as an example for the government tomanipulate citizens in the future? Or, is this just God’s word being man-ifested in regards to the mark of the beast.

Will the implantation of a Bitcoin Chip or an RFID Chip, be themark of the beast that will allow man to buy and sell with their hand?

It’s a weapon of mass destruction, a pistol aimingstraight for the heart. It’s a dagger; it’s a gun undercover. It’s that instrument sandwiched in yourmouth. Although jailed between your teeth, itescapes; it’s never silent because it still speaks.

Gossip and more gossip the stories it tells. It spreadslike wild fire, the stories get juicer and people aremisled. What started out as the truth gets twistedinto a lie. That tongue keeps on wagging, destroyingfriends, family, husbands and even wives. Anger

creeps in. That wagging tongue spurts out offensivewords that are untrue. Now you have broken God’scommandments, is that really what you want to do?

How can something so small cause such turmoil inour lives? Stop and think before you speak. It canhurt you and your love ones causing you to loserespect and integrity. Once hurtful words escapeyour mouth they are out and about, you can nevertake them back. That wagging tongue can causeextreme pain and misery. You know it’s true. You

have probably been a victim too.

So what will you do the next time you open yourmouth and turn that tongue loose? Will you spreadwords of love and joy, or will you lie for the sheerpleasure of making someone else cry? Will you say aprayer; Lord keep this wagging tongue still today, atleast until I can think before I speak so there will be

peace with everyone I meet.
