    through 1974. In 1974 he was asked to be the White House Staff Assistant to President Ford and then as Special Assistant and Deputy Press Secretary to President Reagan from 1981 to 1987. From 2004-2008 he was a columnist for Intown magazine, writing a monthly column and serving as editor, June 2005-April 2008. Roussel is now a public speaker, author and television-radio commentator (abc13, KTRK-TV) based in Houston, Texas. In 2009 he was appointed to the Warner Chair of Journalism in Sam Houston State University’s Department of Mass Communication, where he teaches courses on public relations and press-presidency interactions. He is the author of the White House-based novel, Ruffled Flourishes. $20- $10.

    Texas Shakespeare Festival Presents: A Christmas Carol – a live radio show version of the Charles Dickens classic.Dec. 13-14, 7:30pm Dec. 15, 2pmThe Texas Shakespeare Festival is pleased to announce a unique holiday production of Charles Dickens’ world-famous story, A Christmas Carol.
