WE’VE ANSWERED SOME OF YOUR MOST COMMON FAQ’S. What are the entry requirements for a CMI qualification?

For levels 2 - 7 there are no formal qualifications required. The level undertaken will depend on the individual’s experience and job role. In most cases, they will already be a manager or leader with the ability to apply the skills and experience learned during their qualification.

Please note: Level 8 learners must hold a Level 7, or equivalent qualification, and must hold/have held a position in senior management for at least 3 years.

How long will a qualification typically take?

The length of study time will depend on the units and delivery method chosen. Learning methods differ between centres, however as a rough guide:

• Award: 1-3 months • Certificate: 3-6 months • Diploma: 6-12 months • Extended Diploma: 12-18 months

What support will we receive from CMI?
