BACKGROUND

I have over 9 years of experience, as a Production Engineer in various manufacturing plants.

My experience has included:

• Operating bottling production lines.• Overseeing all processes and packaging operations.• Troubleshooting and fix mechanical problems.• Recognizing low fill and improperly filled products.• Ensuring cleanliness. • Performing quality control testing and reporting, as set by NSF

standards.• Handling transportation and maximizing scheduling efficiency.• Maintaining records of chemicals, supplies, parts and equipment

About the Company

The company is an NSF Certified bottling facility producing the FAIFA and NURAN products. The company underwent a rigorous audit to verify that the bottling facility met all certification requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), which are nationally recognized standards for food safety.

The facility has a 18000 BPH capacity, and is owned and managed by JAZADCO, Jezan, Saudi Arabia.

My Responsibilities and Assignments

I have the overall responsibility for production planning and control:

• I supervise the production line operation, in accordance with plant policies and procedures. • I also manage all the repair & maintenance of all machinery used in plant.• On a periodic basis, I plan and order the raw materials.• I coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and change over. • I am responsible for meeting the shift production goals. • I am also fully responsible for quality control. • I make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. • Rejecting product outside of specifications. • Operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). • Communicating with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Manager. • Ensuring a clean and safe work area. • Assisting in production as necessary.

Workforce Management

• I schedule and conduct shift meetings. • I maintain the overall responsibility for discipline in the work force.• I coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels. • I train and coach the production line employees. • I conduct employee performance reviews. • I am responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee

training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
