PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:The IDPA Tactical Journal welcomes all submissions of press releases and news items of interest to our readers. All material is considered unsolic-ited and is subject to the approval of the Publisher, Editors and Advisory Board. All submissions imply consent to publish and will not be monetarily compensated or returned.

It is with regret that I report that Wo-mens Perspective columnist Julie Goloski Golob has informed us that she will have to retire from writing for the TJ. If you follow Julie’s career you know that she leads ands incredibly busy life. With all that she does, she felt the need to pass the column over to someone that could devote more time to it. We are sorry to see her go and wish her well. However, Julie and I agreed on who we thought would be a perfect replace-ment. Please welcome Kitty Richards to the TJ. Kitty is a long time IDPA shooter and gun enthusiast. What I have read of Kitty’s work so far is impressive and I think you will like it too. Kitty, welcome aboard! Julie, best wishes! As always, if you would like to write, please do so at [email protected]. Let-ters to the editor may be edited for brev-ity and clarity. RR

Keeping an eye on the shooter’s hand and gun is important both here AND when there is a malfunction.

At a major match like the NJ State Championship, it pays to have fixed SOs.
