Introduction (2)

Zadar County (Zadarska županija) act as project partner/coordinator from Croatian side

University of Zadar becomes project partner in mid 2005

Specific project tasks ask for additional partners from wider Croatian academic and research community (FER and SRCE from University of Zagreb)

Phase I (1)

Meetings held in July 2005, Nov 2006 in Ancona and in September 2005, in Zadar, a videoconference between Italian and Croatian partners and an intense communication exchange between the various actors involved in the work packages. Moreover, number of national meetings have been done with the coordinator Regione Marche on Italian and Zadar County on Croatian side.

Videoconference service Videoconference on June 28 2007 The participants were:

Regione Marche, Ancona Zadar County, Zadar Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona University of Zadar, Zadar University computing centre – SRCE, University of Zagreb, Zagreb

In the videoconference room at the Polytechnic University of Marche, the attendees were around 15 people.

The programme of the Videoconference: Roberto De Leo, Paola Russo – “Base Station Environmental Impact and

Planning” Giovanni Cancellieri, Mirco Curzi – “WiMAX: a new standard for wireless

communications against Digital Divide” Ivan Maric – “Croatian Internet eXchange and Regional perspective”

The speakers were Paola Russo, Mirco Curzi, and Ivan Maric, respectively. At the end of each talk, there was a short debate about the topics of the talk.
