CONSTITUTIONof the Cagayan State University Andrews Pingpongeros

Article 1 - Name and Organiation

1!1 The name of this association shall "e Cagayan State University Andrews Pingpongeros#

hereinafter referred to as $CSU Andrews Pingpongeros$!

1!% CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "e affiliated with the Ta"le Tennis Association of the

Philippines &TATAP' shall follow the r(les and "y-laws of that organiation!

1!) The r(les# policies# and proced(res of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "e em"odied in theConstit(tion and *y-+aws of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros# hereinafter referred to as

$Constit(tion$ and $*y-+aws$! Changes or amendments to those doc(ments may "e made

only "y means of the proced(res descri"ed therein for s(ch changes!

Article % - P(rpose

%!1 The p(rpose of the Cl(" shall "e as follows,

a! To promote ta"le tennis as a pop(lar sport as well as a recreational activity!

"! To enco(rage sportsmanship and athleticism!

c! To provide a ven(e where ta"le tennis enth(siasts can improve their sills and play

ta"le tennis in organied to(rnaments and events!

d! To prod(ce National players from the City of T(g(egarao and the Province of

Cagayan!

Article ) . /em"ership and 0(es

)!1 Any person "ased in Cagayan and who is willing to (phold the Constit(tion and *y-+aws ofCSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "e for mem"ership in CSU Andrews Pingpongeros as

provided in the *y-+aws!

)!% A $c(rrent$ mem"er shall "e any person whose mem"ership is in good standing according

to the provisions of the *y-+aws!

)!) There are no permanent d(es for mem"ership! owever# the 23ec(tive Co(ncil reserves

the option to esta"lish mem"ership d(es from mem"ers as necessary in order to s(pportorganiation f(nctions and activities!

Article 4 - Officers

4!1 The titles# responsi"ilities# and d(ties of all officers of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "e

as descri"ed in the *y-+aws!

4!% All officers of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "e elected or appointed in accordance with

proced(res descri"ed in the *y-+aws!

4!) CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "e governed "y an 23ec(tive Committee# hereinafter

referred to as $2C$! /em"ership on the 2C shall consist of all officers of CSU Andrews

Pingpongeros pl(s any additional c(rrent mem"ers as provided in the *y-+aws!

Article 5 - /eetings

5!1 CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall hold at least one ann(al P+ANNIN6 /22TIN6 per

year! The time and place of said meeting shall "e selected "y the 2C in accordance withprovisions in the *y-+aws! All c(rrent mem"ers of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall "eeligi"le to attend said meeting and shall "e sent notification "y phone# mail or email not less than

) days "efore the date of said meeting!

5!% The 2C may call special meetings at any time! All c(rrent mem"ers of the Cl(" shall

eligi"le to attend s(ch meetings and a good faith effort to notify mem"ers of the time# place and

p(rpose of the meeting shall "e sent "y phone or email!

Article 7 - Amendments to the Constit(tion 8 *y-+aws

7!1 Amendments to this Constit(tion 8 *y-+aws may "e made only "y a two-thirds ma9ority

vote of the mem"ers present at any ann(al or special meeting! A good faith effort to notify

mem"ers of the time and place of the meeting shall "e sent "y phone or email to all c(rrentmem"ers not less than two wees "efore the date of said meeting!

7!% S("mission of proposed amendments to this Constit(tion shall "e provided in writing to the

2C at least ): days prior to any vote on changes!

The *y-+aws of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros

Section 1 - /em"ership

1!1 Any person who meets the re;(irements set forth in Article ) of the CSU Andrews

Pingpongeros Constit(tion may "ecome a mem"er of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros (poncompletion of the proper application and s("mission of the proper fee for hiseg(lar . >eg(lar are defined as those individ(als who are %1 years of age or older ofthe last ?(ly 1!

"! St(dent - St(dent are defined as those individ(als who are (nder %1 years of age as of the

last ?(ly 1 and st(dying!

1!) Privileges of mem"ership will "e as follows,

a! >eg(lar mem"ers

1' Participation in any CSU Andrews Pingpongeros- sponsored intra-cl("# inter-cl("# or

no-star to(rnament!

%' @oting privileges as set forth in these *y-+aws!

1' Participation in any CSU Andrews Pingpongeros- sponsored intra-cl("# inter-cl("# or

1!4 A $mem"er in good standing$ is defined as any mem"er whose mem"ership d(es are paid in

f(ll for the period in ;(estion and who is not in violation of good standing for any of the

reasons descri"ed in Section 1!5 of these *y-+aws!

1!5 Any mem"ership may "e terminated either vol(ntarily "y the mem"er for any reason (pon

resignation tendered to a mem"er of the 2C or for ca(se "y a ma9ority vote of the 2C for any of

the following reasons!

a! @iolation or disregard of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros and TATAP r(les and reg(lations!

"! 0elin;(ency in payment of fees and assessments!

c! Cond(ct failing to conform with CSU Andrews Pingpongeros and TATAP standards of

sportsmanship or which tends to "ring disrep(te (pon the CSU Andrews Pingpongeros# TATAP#

or the sport of ta"le tennis!

1!7 Any mem"er who resigned while in good standing# in accordance with the proced(resdetailed in Section 1!5# may "e reinstated (pon application to the CSU Andrews

Pingpongeros following the same proced(res as a first-time new mem"er!

Section % - Officers

%!1 The officers of the CSU Andrews Pingpongeros shall consist of a President# @ice

President# Secretary# =inance Officer and two 2;(ipment /anagers!

a! The President shall s(perintend "(siness of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros generally# "e

entitled to preside at all meetings of CSU Andrews Pingpongeros# appoint s(ch committee

chairman as may "e re;(ired# and perform any other d(ties delegated "y the *oard!

"! The @ice President shall carry o(t the d(ties of the President in his
