advertise the SID logo to show they can support vulnerable peoplein need.

• Support awareness on topics that could affect vulnerable people i.e.hate / mate crime

•Feed into partnership board on current & local issues

• Involved in Patient Led Assessments at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.Asked for symbols as well as text on signage, check the wards forprivacy & dignity.

• What does ‘good’ advocacy look like? This needsto be outlined

• Need to measure quality of service and quantityi.e. how much time have they spent with theindividual?

• Training and experience – is this the same acrossthe board? Does this need to be standardised? Isthere a need for professional accreditation?

• Feedback – from person and families

• Advocates asking if service has been satisfactory& feeding that back to commissioners.
