1. Open the GlobalProtect client which is installed on your laptop.

2. Enter the following information as stated below.

For Students: Username : stu.siat.edu.sg\<student ID> Password : <your student ID password> Portal : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

For Staff: Username : sf.siat.edu.sg\<user-name> Password : <Supply your Windows password> Portal : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

3. The status will change to “Connecting” and eventually “Connected” as

shown below.

4. If you are running a lower version of GlobalProtect agent, then it will be

auto upgraded. The following message will appear on screen near system tray.

5. After the auto upgrade is finished, you will be disconnected as shown.

6. To connect VPN again.

Go to "System Tray" -- Right Click on GlobalProtect icon as shown and click "Connect"

7. Eventually you will be connected. You will not be required to provide

login information again.

If in case you need to provide login information again,

Go to "System Tray" -- Right Click on GlobalProtect icon as shown and click "Show Panel"

On the home tab provide your login information and click Connect

8. The status will change to “Connecting” and eventually “Connected” as shown below.

9. Should you face any issues, please provide your settings and details as

shown below to IT Helpdesk.

Go to "System Tray" -- Right Click on GlobalProtect icon as shown and click "Show Panel"

On panel, click on Details tab. 10. To disconnect the VPN

Go to "System Tray" -- Right Click on GlobalProtect icon as shown and click "Disconnect"

11. The icon will change as shown.

_____________________________________________________ 1. Click https://sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg and select “Continue to this

website” if prompted.

2. Enter the user credential at portal page as stated below.

For Students: Name : stu.siat.edu.sg\<student ID> Password : <your student ID password>

For Staff: Name : sf.siat.edu.sg\<user-name> Password : <Supply your Windows password>

3. Download the respective windows GlobalProtect agent.

You can check if your OS is 32 bit or 64 bit. Right Click on “My Computer” -->Click on Properties. It will show under “System” in right pane.

4. Download the windows client.

5. Install using the setup file downloaded in above step.

6. Install the software by selecting next on upcoming screens.

7. Launch the newly installed GlobalProtect windows client software, and enter the user details as stated below.

For Students: Username : stu.siat.edu.sg\<student ID> Password : <your student ID password> Portal : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

For Staff: Username : sf.siat.edu.sg\<user-name> Password : <Supply your Windows password> Portal : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

Click Connect.

8. The status will change to “Connecting” and eventually “Connected” as

shown below.

9. Should you face any issues, please provide your settings and details as shown below to IT Helpdesk.

If the menu bar is not showing in your “GlobalProtect” client, you can click

Go to “Details” tab.

10. To disconnect the VPN

Go to "System Tray" -- Right Click on GlobalProtect icon as shown and click "Disconnect"

Apple Mac OS 10.6 and later

_____________________________________________________ 1. Open the GlobalProtect client which is installed on your laptop. 2. Enter the following information as stated below.

For Students: Username : stu.siat.edu.sg\<student ID> Password : <your student ID password> Portal : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

For Staff: Username : sf.siat.edu.sg\<user-name> Password : <Supply your Windows password> Portal : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

3. Click Apply and eventually you will be connected.

4. If you are running a lower version of GlobalProtect agent, then it will be auto upgraded. The following message will appear at the top right corner of screen near GlobalProtect logo.

5. After upgrade is finished, you will be disconnected as shown.

6. To connect VPN again.

Click on GlobalProtect Icon and click connect as shown. 7. Eventually you will be connected. You will not be required to provide

login information again.

8. If in case you need to provide login information again,

Click on GlobalProtect icon and click "Show Panel"

On the home tab you can provide your login information and click connect, the status will change to connecting and eventually it will be connected.

2. You will see the following screen.

Download MAC 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent.

3. After the download completes, locate and launch the installer. 4. Click Continue 5. Click Continue again and then click Install

6. If prompted to allow the Installer, enter your Mac OSX username and

password, click Install Software.

7. When the installation is completed, you should be presented with the

GlobalProtect Home tab as shown below

Enter the login information as stated below and click connect. The status will be changed to connecting and eventually it will be connected.

For Students:

9. To disconnect the VPN

Android 4.0.3 and later

_____________________________________________________ 1. Search and Install GlobalProtect client from Play Store and Accept to acknowledge that Global Protect needs elevated permissions.

2. Once the installation is completed, select OPEN.

3. Enter the following information as stated below and select Connect.

For Students: Username : stu.siat.edu.sg\<student ID> Password : <your student ID password> Server : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

For Staff:

Username : sf.siat.edu.sg\<user-name> Password : <Supply your Windows password> Server : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

4. Select OK to allow connection and you will be connected as shown.

_____________________________________________________ 1. Search and Install GlobalProtect Client from App Store and select OPEN.

2. Enter the login information as stated below and select Connect.

For Staff: Username : sf.siat.edu.sg\<user-name> Password : <Supply your Windows password> Server : sitvpn.singaporetech.edu.sg

3. Eventually VPN will be connected as shown on top of your iPhone indicated by the red arrow

4. To view the connection details, select

after opening the GlobalProtect App and select Details.

5. To exit the VPN, open the GlobalProtect app and select Disconnect.
