Video games are great

and there’s a variety of

controllers and games. My

favorite game is for the

computer, iPod, iPad, and

other devices it’s Minecraft.

Most people like it and there

are different things to do on

it but the most common

thing to do is survive on the

worlds and get achievements.

I like to be in creative

mode because I can do

things I want to without

being killed or running out of

materials.

There are servers that

you can go on and play the

games or help build it. On

your own world you can

build, survive, and play

hardcore mode.

Hardcore mode is when

you have one chance to

survive as long as you can

without completely losing your

health and once you die you

have to delete the world and

start a new one.

In survival mode you

can die and respawn where

your spawn point is or where

you last slept in a bed.

There are different

animals in Minecraft like pigs,

cows, chickens, sheep, and

squids are not hostile

animals. Some hostile mobs

are creeper, zombie, blaze,

ghast, ender dragon,

skeleton, nether skeleton, and

wither are the hostile animals

that will kill you on sight.

There’s the zombie pigman

which if you hit them all of

them around you will come

after you and try to kill you.

The enderman will not kill

you unless you look it in its

eyes or attack it.

The one creature that

you probably want to kill is

the ender dragon because

it’s the ultimate boss and it

is in another dimension

called the end and to get to

it you have to find a

stronghold and activate the

portal to the end. When you

get to the end you’ll

immediately be confronted by

enderman and then comes

the ender dragon that you

can defeat with arrows and

once you kill it a portal

home will appear and the

ender dragon egg will be on

top of it. When you go

through the portal you will

get things saying stuff that

is boring to read but it

means you beat the game

on that world. But no worry

you can still play on that

world and not worry about

the end any longer. But you

can still go to the nether or

the end over and over again.

You can face the Wither over

and over again. The wither is

the nether boss.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

This is a story about two

brothers named Hesh and Logan.

They are 16 and 18 years old and

living happy lives. A US satellite

called Odin was attacked by the

Federation of South America.

Oden was filled with large kinetic

rods. Odin exploded and got

caught in the earth’s atmosphere

getting sucked in by earth’s gravity

Oden came crashing down on the

US. The devastation was possibly

worse than nukes. The nation we

loved was nearly destroyed.

Within a blink the US became a

weak country. The Federation

attacked the US focusing their

invasion in the south. The

Federation captured civilians and

executed them.

The US created a unit called

GHOST to defend the US. Their

main skill was stealth. Hesh and

Logan wanted to defend their

country and applied for GHOST.

Also their father was an ex-marine

and they wanted to follow in his

footsteps.

The Federation had two major

bases: one in Phoenix, Arizona

and one in Montgomery, Alabama.

The US wanted to block the roads

and highways from Dodge City,

Kansas to Edinburg, Texas.

Blocking the roads would cause

supplies to stop getting from base

to base.

Their first mission was to

clear out and take over Dodge

City, Kansas. From Dodge City

they took highway 50 to highway

35, putting a soldier every 20

yards. By the time they reached

Oklahoma City they were running

out of soldiers. They called in air

support to deliver soldiers. They

finally reached San Antonio where

they found a mega base.

Thick steel walls with barb

wire on top surrounded the entire

base. They waited for a cargo

shipment to arrive. The gates

opened and the ghosts slipped in.

The ghosts took over the base and

found nukes. They threatened the

Federation, to leave or be blown

up. The Federation gave up and

The newest Apple device is called the iMac

Air laptop or the iPad Air. These are the

newest and light devices there are. For

Apple devices and improvement in all of the

products they have come out with in their

business. Here are a couple of great things

about the iPad Air and the iMac air laptop.

The iPad Air is almost a quarter lighter than

the iPad 2. The iMac Air laptop is half the

weight of the iMac laptop. There is

the iPhone 5 SC and the iPhone 5 cs. These

are the biggest screens on Apple phones. I

personally think the iMac laptop is the

handiest thing for laptop there is out

there. It is small and it is like an iPad, but

with a keyboard.

Then there is the iMac it has the biggest

screen for a desktop. It is all built behind

the screen, so it is two pieces the screen

and the keyboard. The keyboard is cordless

and there is only a couple of cords. I think

that the iMac is the most versatile desktop

there is on the market. There are so many

more things that you can do with a

computer.

Some of the things that Apple has brought

out is some of the games they have made

are really fun and are a big hit for kids that

are under 14 years of age. They are easy to

figure out, have great cameras, and are

good for young kids to work on. They can

take one game and bring it to another

device, and you can still be at the same

level on all of the devices. They are great

for watching movies on and you can also

face time people. It is like a piece of cake

for anyone that is trying it out. You can also

take your iPad or laptop and put more

gigabytes in it. You can download websites

and other things. The prices are reasonable

for how good they work. You can set up

timers and stopwatches on them. Then they

send out new updates for your iPad hard

drive. Apple devices are just all around best

electronic I have use. So if I were you I

would go out and buy the iPad air the iMac

air laptop. The best part about Apple

products is that whatever they make will

last the use that you will give it. Like

dropping it and siting on it or kick it will last

the use you put on it.

By next year there is going to be the iPhone

6 coming out. It will be faster than the

iPhone 5 CS and the iPhone 5 SC it will be

one of the fastest phones out there on the

market. But the screen will be a little bite

bigger. But it will have a faster internet.

They are just the all-around best iPhone on

the market. They can all so put in for you to

have to hold more pictures. They hold a lot

of space for how small they are. But the

screen is just amazing. It is one of the most

diverse phone Apple has on the market

Halo Reach

In Halo Reach the time of

this was before the first

Halo but was one of the

late games made. But

basically in this game you

are a new Spartan and is

part of Noble Team and

your job is to defeat the

covenant and save Reach.

Once the covenant first

invaded Reach ONI

basically declared the

command of the

UNSC(United Nations

Space Command)to order

all the Spartans to go and

fight and try to save Reach

but since the Covenant had

more forces they overran

the Spartans and defeated

them one by one. All

Spartans were eliminated

except for Spartan 117

John A.K.A Master Chief.

They shipped Master Chief

on the Pillar of Autumn

before the covenant can

stop them. Every Spartan

fought till they were at

their end of their energy

they never gave up and

they never ever thought

they were going to lose.

They tried as hard as they

can for as long as they can.

In the first mission of Halo

Reach the UNSC sent

Noble Team to investigate

a death. That is when they

figured out that the

Covenant was on Reach.

That is why they called for

all the Spartans so they

wont lose reach. Noble

team had six memebers.

Noble one was Carter the

Leader. Noble two was Kat

the second in command.

Noble three was Jun the

Sharpshooter. Noble four

was Emile the Close

Quarters Combat

Specialist. Noble five was

Jorge the Heavy Weapons

Specialist. And you were

Noble Six the Rookie. In

Reach you go on missions

you didn’t see in Halo,

Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3

ODST. Halo Reach was

the last Halo Bungie made.

Bungie left the production

and the rights to 343

Industries which made

Halo 4. In this campaign

you end up flying ships

fighting in space driving

warthogs and encountering

the worst covenant vehicle

of all you will not be

happy to see it and it may

also be the death of a

Noble Team member. ONI

is in trouble you go to their

swordbase about 3 times in

the campaign and you see

Dr. Halsey and rescue her.

You may have to carry an

A.I. and deliver it to the

Pillar of Autumn and keep

it safe or it can be the

death of the UNSC.

Spartans were invented

and invested by Dr.

Halsey. She started to

make Spartans to first fight

the inzurrectionists not to

fight the covenant but

when the covenant came

they prevailed and maybe

they can save Reach. Halo

Reach has a stunning

campaign that all Halo fans

will enjoy and can be a

huge success for 343 and

Bungie and hopefully give

them ideas for Halo 4 and

keep some stuff or get rid

of them but lets hope they

continue Halo.

Computer Stories by Luke GarthusThe time my computer frozeI was playing a game on my laptop when allof a sudden it just stopped.I asked mymom what happened, she said that it wasfrozen. So I put it by the fire. it still didn’twork. A couple minutes later my momcaught me putting it in the microwave.“hmm” I wondered, maybe if I ask it nicely.“Computer, Can you please unfreeze?”Nothing. I took it outside and left it in thesun for ten minutes. I contemplated taking itapart with my tool set. But it looked way toocomplicated. Then my friend Braydencame over. I told him about my situation.He said “have you tried turning it off andback on? I stared at him blankly. “what?” Iasked. He went over and pressed a button.The screen went black. “Ahh!” I cried. “youkilled it!”. Brayden looked at me quizzicallyand pressed the button again. thecomputer turned back on unfrozen. I happilyresumed my computer games untilBrayden said”ahem”. I looked up. I decidedto stop playing, I had had enough computertroubles anyway.

       I try to find a computer.This story is based on the time when mycomputer was tragically destroyed in agrape juice accident involving my littlesister and I tried to find a new one beforemy parents got home

So I was looking for a new laptop when Isaw a sign for a computer store:Super lowprices! the sign exclaimed. So I went to thestore. When I got inside I asked the clerk“Hi what’s the price of your cheapestlaptop?” “five hundred dollars Kid” hereplied, “now go away!” he yelledmy computer”. I took it. It  was the exact

 “What!?!?” I exclaimed. “looks Like I’llhave to find a computer somewhere else” Ithought. Then I saw my grandpa. “Hey!Grandpa!” I called. I told him what hadhappened. He said Well You’re in luckbuddy, because i just happen to have acomputer”. ”really grandpa?” I asked.“really” he said. he took me into his houseand then to the back room. in there I sawthe newest coolest laptop in theworld.“whoa!” I cried. “this is awesome!”“Thanks Grandpa!” “Whoa now son!” hesaid, “that’s my work computer, This is yourcomputer” he blew the dust of an old boxcomputer that must have been made in the1800’s. “does it have Internet games?” Iasked hopefully. “no” grandpa said. “Whatabout google?”  I said. “Nope”. I looked atthe plug, it looked like it had been made onan alien planet. “Sorry Grandpa, but I can’ttake this” I said. and started the long walkhome. As I walked in the door sulkily I said“sorry Em I couldnt find acom­whhhaaaaaaa!?!?! Emma wasplaying on a computer even better than theone at grandpa’s house. “Hi” she said,“while you were out going for a walk, I gotthe newest computer in the world. “but,How?” I asked. She shrugged, “my friendsmom owns a  computer factory” shereplied. “Well now it’s my turn” I said. “Noway!” Emma exclaimed. We startedfighting over who got the computer untilEmma’s elbow bumped her grape juice.“Uh Oh!” we exclaimed in unison as itspilled all over the laptop. “What do we donow?” I asked. Then there was a knock onthe door. “Oh no!” Emma said “thats momand dad” But when I opened the door, itwas the computer store clerk. “hey kid” hesaid. “I’m sorry for yelling at you” “So

here have mine” the laptop was a  thesame model of the first one we had had.“thanks man” I said. He smiled and walkedaway.

  You can also download demos andtrailers for like movies and one thing a lotof people do have on their xbox 360 isnetflix and you can also get a lot more stufflike free games you can download musicfrom itunes on their xbox allows you to havean avatar where you can put clothes on himand put props on him

 You can buy clothes for him or earn themthrough games your xbox also keeps trackof all games you have and you can getachievements there is also a thing calledgamer tag where you can give your avatara nickname  you can't have the samenickname as someone else so it wont letyou or the live thing will be messed up soyou have to make a name something elsethan other people .

There is a new xbox 360 called a slim aheat sensor where you need to just put yourfinger by it it will turn on and you can playthis xbox came out in 2010 there is a 4GBand a 250GB hard disk the slim also lastslonger.

Xbox 360 is a really good game you shouldall check it out sometime hope you enjoyedthis and xbox 360 is not hard to play 10year olds could get this just need a easiergame peace out gamers.
