CALL FOR TRAINEESTRAINING FOR EYP TRAINERS 2014

T4ET invites experienced active EYPers for a week to learn how to competently and confidently plan, run and evaluate a training course in EYP.

Participants will:

(i) Gain profound understanding on how groups work; (ii) Learn advanced group leading techniques (chairing/facilitation); (iii) Practice strategic use of teambuilding exercises; (iv) Explore how to enable personal growth in one’s team; (v) Creatively approach new and existing methods; (vi) Reflect on one’s individual approach to training; (viii) Practice their leadership, training and chairing competences through self-reflection and feed back from experienced co-participants and trainers. Trainings for EYP Trainers (T4ET) are a core element in EYP’s long-term strategy, con-tributing to the development of our alumni and ultimately assisting the enhancement of their educational experience, increasing the quality of events and transforming EYP into a training-based organisation.

This year’s T4ET will take place in Estonia, in a beautiful summer resort Käsmu (1,5 h ride from Tallinn) from 17 - 24 August 2014. You can check out the venue here. Par-ticipants will be expected to arrive in Tallinn on August 17th by 17:00. Departures will be all throughout Sunday 24th. Later arrivals or early departures would not be possible.

Please note that the organisers are working on ensuring sufficient funding to allow partial travel reimbursement and no participation fees. This mostly depends on whether or not our Erasmus+ request will be granted. In the negative, you would have to cover your full travel expenses and pay a small participation fee of up to 30 euros.

The trainers’ are Maria Manolescu (Romania, Senior Trainer – team coordinator), Chris-tian Macht (Germany) and Boaz Manger (Netherlands, Pool of Trainers). A fourth ex-ternal trainer will soon be confirmed.

The project is head-organised by Anna-Helena Saarso and EYP Estonia, with the sup-port of the Training and Alumni Development Council, as well as the EYP Interna-tional Office.
