The OMNEX TRUSTED WIRELESS™ T42/R42 system uses Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology. FHSS devices concentrate their full power into a very narrow signal that randomly hops from frequency to frequency within a license-free band. This transmission pattern, along with CRC-16 error checking techniques, enables our industrially hardened FHSS signals to overcome in-terference that commonly affects licensed radios. Use our radios in downtown locations, near airports and other high interference places and you will find that our radios work smoothly, precisely and ensure interference free fail-safe operation.

The OMNEX TRUSTED WIRELESS™ T42/R42 is a long range, pro- grammable radio mobile control system. Compact and easy-to -use, this member of the TRUSTED WIRELESS™ family puts complete control of your Concrete Boom Truck where it’s needed most, with the operator. It’s robust, easy to install and is plug’n play. Remove your old fixed-frequency remote control system, plug in the OMNEX R42 receiver and you are ready to go. Transmitter spares can be swapped in the field without the need to ship the system back to the manufacturer. The receiver stores all of the calibration/teach parameters. All you need to do is link the receiver to the new transmitter and you are ready to go!

The T42 transmitter comes with 38 standard functions plus E-Stop and is customizable to provide more functions. The T42 is designed and programmed with the major joystick control configurations. A program Selector switch allows the operator to select World Standard, Old ACPA, or Old PM joystick configurations with- out the need to ship the system back to the factory. Using the trans- mitter’s Teach mode, the operator has the ability to calibrate the boom’s proportional valves during operation. So if a joystick is not giving you the performance you require, calibrate on the job; as you’re working. A unique ID code is used by each T42 to ensure that no two systems will conflict on a job site.

The R42 receiver can be powered from a 12VDC or 24VDC system. This TRUSTED WIRELESS™ system features 19 solid state, high-side driver input/output controls, 2-way capability and a reliable E-Stop control. Up to fourteen current-control, PWM, or voltage outputs, or a combination of these can be added.
