However. it did leadrneio nake a horse. whichwas a terrificthr'll asI never thoughtlcould. Thelirtle blighters have a tendency to come out tallerlhan youexpec!. but I rhinkthatthehead is thekey.Make the head the right size andthe restwill follow. Fimo is strong enough to support itself$hen youaremaking people. but ifyou veniure into horses. and I hope you lvill. you willneedto make a lvireframe. called anarmature. to support the beast whileyou arenakingit. and to ensure durability in use. I use floristswire for rhis. but paper'clip wirewould probablt.. do rhetrick too. Animarion is the secret ofsarisfaction with these little chaps (as in so many other arcas of lifc . . .). Hatea clear idea of the position vouare ainingforrighr from rhe srarl. Be aware ofscale right from the siart. I made a figure in whatwe call in the paper trade a bastard size. and so it proved to besince I ve had to make every damned thing. However. it didlead rne io nake a horse. which was a terrific thr'll as I neverthoughtlcould. The lirtle blighters have a tendency to come outtallerlhan you expec!. but I rhink that the head is the key. Makethe head the right size and the rest will follow. Fimo is strongenough to support itself$hen you are making people. but ifyouveniure into horses. and I hope you lv i l l . you wi l lneedto make alvire frame. called an armature. to support the beast while youare naking it. and to ensure durability in use. I use florist swirefor rhis. but paper'clip wire would probablt.. do rhe trick too.
