" Everyone is invited to the second in a series of five monthlyconversations On Care for Our Common Home. The gathering is at the Washington VirginiaFire Hall, on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at 3:30pm-5:30pm. No prior preparation is needed toparticipate in this discussion. - Monday morning, Mar. 14, "PHILOKALIA" (Love of Beauty), from 9:15am-lO:15am, we willdiscuss The Heart 2, pgs. 40-49. Philokalia is the most important collection of the spiritual writings of theGreek and Russian Orthodox churches (especially the reflections of the monks from Mt. Athos in Greece overthe last thousand years). All are invited to join us each Monday at 9: 15-10:15 am in the Church meeting room toreflect with us.
- Wednesday, March 16 - During Lent come for the LENTEN POT LUCK DINNER at 6 pm, ANDECUMENICAL WORSHIP SERVICE, 7 pm. Speakers will be Rev. James Kilby and Rev. Jeff Light. Allare invited to bring something to share at the pot luck dinner and then worship with us at 7 pm. All services willbe held at WASHlNGTON BAPTIST Church on Gay Street in Washington.
