The official delegation shall be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities:1. Provide technical assistance and relevant information that may be required for the establishment of the 100-hectare rice technology demonstration site in PNG;2. Actively engage in collaboration with the Independent State of Papua New Guinea and the Department of Agriculture and Livestock (DAL) in their formulation of national policies and strategic directions that will translate to rice industry operation plan of PNG;3. Provide supervision in the conduct of capacity buildings and strengthening of PNG policies on rice production;4. Conduct regular meetings to review, monitor and evaluate the progress of project implementation; and5. Perform other functions that may be required by the Department of Agriculture Secretary pertinent to the undertaking.The Philippine Government shall be responsible for the international travel and related costs of the official delegation from its port of departure to the port of entry in PNG. Meanwhile, the Independent State of Papua New Guinea shall shoulder all local expenses that may be incurred relative to the conduct of the activity as indicated in the Memorandum of Agreement between the Republic of the Philippines and Independent State of Papua New Guinea on Agricultural Cooperation.This Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in force until revoked in writing. All orders/memoranda inconsistent herewith are deemed revoked.Done th is . Ifejfr day of > W 2021.
