New tasks can be created directly from the web-based interface and sent automatically to the correct individual, based on employee schedules and competencies. Service call buttons are also great features that tie in with the ACS. These can be installed in key areas that are not continuously serviced to ensure that guests

are never left waiting. When a service call button is activated, staff are automatically informed of where their guests who require service are located, providing them with the necessary information to promptly respond to their request.Teldio’s RBX +Plus compliments the functionality provided by the ACS by enabling communication between MOTOTRBO radios and telephony. By enhancing the radios’ functionality, hotel guests can reach work teams such as Housekeeping or Maintenance directly on their radios simply by dialling their extension. Because you look for efficiency in facilities and team management.In most hospitality establishments, the transfer of information between central control dispatching centers, such as the engineering control room and the front desk, is often inefficient, timely and dependant on human action. Teldio applications provide the bundled dynamic solution that is necessary to streamline alarm, task and information dispatching while ensuring accessibility to communication between the staff and mobile workforce. Teldio empowers mobile devices such as MOTOTRBO radios by automatically sending task and alarm notifications to the user handset via its ACS. When received, tasks and alarms are accepted or rejected directly from the radio. If the notification is rejected or ignored, it is automatically sent to another available resource based on worker schedules and competencies. For easy monitoring and management, a log is kept with all tasks and alarms that have been accepted, rejected, commenced and finished, and can easily be accessed via a web-browser anywhere on the LAN. The ACS Desktop Interface also enables workers stationed at these

key central centers to manually send tasks or messages of varying priority right from their web-browser directly to workers’ mobile devices. As such, workers have their tasks or actions prioritized, ensuring that all resources are used to their full potential. Complete connectivity between the radio network and telephony is achieved by implementing the Teldio RBX +Plus. This advanced telephone interconnect enables mobile teams to communicate with phone users at all time, making it possible to request more information from a supervisor, calling a third party distributor or alerting emergency services right from the MOTOTRBO handset. All Teldio applications provide additional care and attention to those who are responsible for transmitting the services on which your brand is founded. A key example are customer service clerks and front desk receptionists who are often witness to dangerous or urgent situations. Panic buttons installed at their desk significantly decrease the time it takes for help to arrive. With Teldio’s ACS alarm notifications are automatically sent to security guards, which significantly reduce the complexity in communicating the event and the time it takes to respond. Digital radios can now communicate seamlessly with phones while having similar functionality found on a cellular device. RBX +Plus leverages existing radio and telephony infrastructure in a new way by giving customers the ability to truly control their mobile communications costs while providing remote workers with continuous connectivity. For example, RBX +Plus enables security guards to dial 911 directly from their MOTOTRBO radios, and allows shift supervisors to dial into a radio network’s talkgroup directly from a phone. General Managers can also easily reach their supervisors directly on their radio to speak privately. The flexibility that the RBX +Plus provides to the communication networks ensures that workers are always connected and that they can do more with their radios.

Unified communication Solution radio to radio recordingThe Teldio recording solution enables network administrators to record, log and playback any group call on MOTOTRBO two-way radio networks of any configuration. This solution allows users to record both Radio-to Radio and Phone-to-Radio conversations, making it easy to use revert back to the communication data for hands-on training exercises. R2R has also proven useful by enhancing audit trails with audio-data of radio to radio and phone to radio communications, and by increasing the accountability of workers with the review of the recorded data.

Alarm Control System (ACS) can drastically raise the level of efficiency and safety in the workplace. It automatically dispatches safety and business critical alarms to MOTOTRBO digital radios and other mobile devices. This application provides the assurance that if an alarm is raised or a task created, ACS will immediately identify the available responsible employee based on schedule and competency, and escalate the alarm or task until it is acknowledged, resolved and closed. If an employee was to miss or ignore a notification, the next person in line best equipped to respond to the call would be notified and the alarm appropriately escalated until acknowledged. ACS is powerful in any hospitality setting as it streamlines the response line between alarm activation and reliable response.

The Centralized Lone Worker (CLW) module raises an alarm whenever a radio or mobile phone user does not respond to a regular safety check. These are sent automatically by the application at predefined time intervals. If an employee fails to respond to the alive check request within the allocated time frame, an emergency alarm is immediately raised to supervisors and/or response teams. Employees completing dangerous tasks inside the hotel or outside on the facility’s grounds, for example, now have the extra assurance that someone is looking out for their well-being. Supervisors will have the peace of mind that their employees are being monitored, wherever they may be.

Indoor Positioning Solution (IPS) allows organizations to locate and track employees and assets using any Bluetooth device including MOTOTRBO radios equipped with a Bluetooth Adapter. IPS provides real-time location data of radio and mobile phone users using strategically placed Bluetooth beacons. IPS can be used in conjunction with ACS to trigger an alarm notification if a worker or asset enters or leaves predefined zones. It also complements CLW to provide location data of a worker in distress, as signaled by a panic alarm or non-response to an alive check. In hospitality establishments, IPS proves itself as a useful and reliable tool to reduce time inefficiencies and provide rich location-based data of remote workers.

Bluetooth indoor positioningThe Man Down Notifier (MDN) application monitors workers to identify if they have suffered a fall or accident. It does so by surveilling the radio’s accelerometer for a lack of movement, a horizontal tilt, or both. Its rich functionality, including calibration and pre-alarm configurable parameters, significantly reduce the number of false alarms. When triggered, MDN automatically dispatches a notification to the appropriate response group or individual by utilizing the ACS application platform.
