The home learning is going well and we have really enjoyed receiving your children’s work, messages, videos and comments. Please keep them coming in! Once again we are using this issue of the School Bell to celebrate all the lovely things that the children have been doing at home. We would also like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome Finley into Blue Class and Fletcher into Violet Class. As I sure you will know, the government has announced plans for possible re-opening of the school to certain year groups from 1st June at the earliest. The school governing body has met today to discuss the feasibility of doing this, and more details will be sent to parents on Monday. In the meantime school continues to be closed other than to vulnerable children and those whose parents are key workers. Take care of yourselves. In light of current events, we can no longer hold our usual Good News Assembly. However, please join us every Friday (term time) to watch our assembly online! Look out for emails with song lyrics, and join us for all the fun of our assemblies from the comfort of home! Dear God, Please teach us to be gentle. Remind us of the many ways you have shown gentleness to us. When we respond to others, help us see how you love them and how you died for them. Help us to show gentleness in everything that we do. Amen Prayer of Gentleness The next School Bell will be issued on Friday 5th June Portrait Gallery Project Spearheaded by The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the National Portrait Gallery, Hold Still, a portrait of our nation in 2020, is an ambitious community project to create a unique photographic portrait which captures the spirit, mood, hopes, fears and feelings of the nation as we continue to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak. For more information and to take part, please visit: https://www.npg.org.uk/hold-still/ Teaching Assistant Level One, £7,104.85 (03HP, SCP03) Learning Mentor and Pastoral Support, £4,962.88 (05HP, SCP06) PE Apprentice, £6,245.75 (APR01) Join Us! Over the next few weeks, we will be looking to recruit a few new members of the St Mary's team to start this coming September. Fruit of the Spirit for May: Gentleness

I hope you are all keeping well.
