Gears & Gear drives

Our company, Szabó Gear Manufacturing Ltd. (Szabó Fogaskerékgyártó Kft.) was

established in 1976, specialized to, Gear Manufacturing, Producing Geared Parts and

Machining (spur-gears, linear toothed bevel-gears, helical toothed bevel-gears, worm gears,

geared axis, multiple-spline shaft, gear boxes - with assembly). We also have competence in:

gear-grinding of spur- gears, internal toothing, broaching, contact surface testing, measuring.

For the time being in our production site in Kaposvár, Hungary we have 30 employees.

� The machining occurs at up-to-date

CNC- controlled lathes, CNC milling

machines and the finishing at semi-

automated grinders

� The spur-gears are manufactured with

use of PFAUTER type CNC gear-

hobbing machines, module 0,5 to 12;

max. diameter 700 mm up to DIN-7

quality.

� We are able to make the gear-grinding

of spur- gears up to: DIN 2 quality,

module 16, max. diameter 800 mm, on

our FKP-CSEPEL (Reishauer), KAPP

VAS 482, BHS-HÖFLER 630, Gleason-

Pfauter P600/800 G CNC gear-grinding

machines.

� We are capable of producing internal

toothed gears, module 1 to 10, max.

diameter 800 mm.

� We also produce machine parts with

broaching and splined shafts.

� We undertake tooth cutting of worm

wheels as well as manufacture of

grinded worm shafts, up to diameter

500 mm, module 10.

� We manufacture linear toothed bevel-

gears with KONVOID type automatic

gear hobbing machines, module 0,5 to

10; max. diameter 500 mm.

� We manufacture helical toothed bevel-

gears with OERLIKON-Spiromatik type

tooth cutting machine, module 2 to 10,5;

max. diameter 560 mm.

� We are capable of producing tooth

racks with LORENZ rack machine, max.

module 8; max. length 2000 mm.

� We undertake also the production and

assembly of gear drives, gear boxes.

� Testing of spur-gears and bevel-gears

occurs on our GLEASON-SIGMA 650

CNC 3D CMM Gear Inspection Machine.

For contact surface checking and

wearing-in we use our GLEASON and

KLINGELNBERG equipment.

� To secure more reliable production

processes we have implemented the

‘Factory Master’ ERP software which

includes inventory management,

production planning and control and also

the coordination of deliveries.

Our well experienced employees, quality control system by ISO 9001/2000 standards, modern

machine park and calibrated measuring tools guarantee high quality of the toothed parts

produced by us.
