Safety

• Documented effects include increased agitation and vomiting. A 3 gram package has the same health effects on the lungs as a packet of cigarettes.

• Other symptoms are similar to those associated with cannabis.

Drug Testing

• Synthetic Cannabis does not cause a positive drug test for cannabis or other illegal drugs.

• Studies are being conducted into the detection of the metabolites of the synthetic cannabis in urine.

• Currently one lab in the U.S. can detect the synthetic cannabis.

Usage - JWH-018 produces effects very similar to cannabis but is considerably more potent than similar amounts of cannabis.

John W. Huffman has opined that JWH-018 has no medical use, stating, "It's like LSD, the only thing it is good for is getting you high."

Toxicity - Compared to THC, JWH-018 users may experience far more intense effects compared to smoking cannabis. JWH-018 may cause intense anxiety, agitation, and even seizures or convulsions.
