BLUEWAVE™ is a patented material technology developed by Dows global R&D team. Dow won the 2017 Edison award for BLUEWAVE™ disperson technology. The Edison award is the highest innovation award in the USA, equvilanet to an Oscar for material science.
BLUEWAVE™ process enables the dispersion of polyurethane systems in an aqueous solution without the addition of solvents and emulsiers, which are typically used in the standard dispersion and emulsication processes.
SYNTEGRA™ waterborne polyurethanes are odorless, VOC free, safe and comfortable due to the unique BLUEWAVE™ material proccessing technology. The leather produced by SYNTEGRA™ waterborne polyurethane is comfortable and durable for use in various eco leather solutions, such as garments, etc.
