II. Statement of the Problem

Conducting interview at professional level, editing and publishing require lot of

efforts and resources. Professional interview coordinator designed to reduce human

efforts, increase efficiency and for effective management of profiles. Professional

interview coordinator is a complete interview management and applicant tracking

solution aimed to get better people. It will reduce administration, eliminate

duplication and reduce the work.

III. Why this particular topic chosen?

As name indicates, Professional interview coordinator is designed for conducting

the interview of professionals and publishing that online. Here if particular user wants

some guidance or some knowledge related to particular domain he can read the

interview those domain experts. Here if user wants to ask some question from an

expert he or she can directly ask question from an expert.

So this topic is chosen to connect the users of website with experts and

professionals.

IV. Objective and Scope

Interview coordinator is designed to find the best candidates easier and more

efficient way. And also

To provide an easy to use interface for the interviewer.

To provide a chance to ask the question and answer the questions any time.

Collecting data regarding experienced professionals.

Provide an efficient searching for eligible professionals.

To reduce the time and complication during an interview.

To avoid duplication of candidate profile.

To provide an opportunities for readers to comment.

V. Methodology

The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a conceptual model used in

project management that describes the stages involved in an information system

development project from an initial feasibility study through maintenance of the

complete application. The SDLC models like Agile and Prototype are been used for

this project. Agile software development is a group of software development methods

based on iterative and incremental development, where requirements and solutions

evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams. It

promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery, a time-boxed

iterative approach, and encourages rapid and flexible response to change.

VI. Process Description

Admin can add any number of professionals. Admin have an option to add,

update and delete professional profile. He can add and update the question. And

search for the professionals and can assign the question according to their profession.

In view and answer tab admin can see the answer and decide to approve or reject the

answer.

This project has 3 modules.

1. PIC Admin.

2. PIC Mailer Admin.

3. Interviewer.

Module 1- PIC Admin

Admin will use this module.

Sub-module of this module is given below.

1.1 Add/Update Category: Here admin can create or update category.

Here category means Questions category.

1.2 Add Questions: Here admin will add questions to existing category.

1.3 Update Questions: Here we will provide option to edit existing questions.

1.4 Find and assign: Here admin can search the network members based on some

keywords. After searching, admin will assign a category questions to users.

1.5 View Answer: In This tab admin will see the answer of question .Based on the

answer he can approve or disapprove the user.

1.6 Resend: If user not answered the question, Admin can assign the different

Category question and send the questions again.

1.7 Approved Members: Under this tab all approved members will be displayed.

Admin also can search the members.

Module 2- PIC Mailer Admin

This module will be used by the admin to send the Interviewer URL to

members.

Here we have to implement the functionality to send mails to network members.

Module 3- PIC Interviewer

This module will work like an online test. When user will open the interviewer

URL, Questions assigned by Admin will be displayed. Here members will answer the

questions and submit his profile. Finally his answers will appear in the view answer

tab.

VII. Resources and Limitations

This project is a web application and mainly requires a WAMP Server.

Hardware requirements to install WAMP is

RAM : 256MB

Processor : 1 GHZ Processor

HDD : 40GB

PHP smarty web templates system is using. Operating system should be

Windows XP or above. A fast, secure and easier browser with an internet connection

is required. PHP editor and dream viewer are the IDE used for this project.

Limitations:1. Sometimes Interviewee has to wait for a long time for the approving his new

profile.

2. Here admin will assign question to network member based on some keywords

from his profile. So if a profile not updated from long time, then questions

may be assigned of different category which is not relevant to that member.

VIII. Testing Technologies used

Manual testing method is going to use for this project. White box and black box

testing are used. During initial stage of the project unit testing will be carried out. In

white-box testing an internal perspective of the system, as well as programming skills,

are used to design test cases.

Black-box testing is a method of software testing that examines the functionality

of an application (e.g. what the software does) without peering into its internal

structures or workings (see white-box testing).

IX. Conclusion

Professional Interviews are a chance for you to meet and talk with people who are

working in professions you are considering. You are interviewing these individuals togain information about their job and career field or to gather information about the

organization for which they work. Professional interview coordinator provides an

easy way to interview the professionals.
