INTRODUCTION

Main objective of Movie ticket booking system is to develop a software for cinema halls for selling ticket through online.

This web application will reduce black ticket booking system.

The Movie Ticket Reservation System is an Internet based application that can be accesses throughout the Net and can be accessed by anyone who has a net connection.

Existing System

In the existing system the customer need to physically go and buy the movie tickets.

Further they do not even have the information about the Movie which is in the cinema hall, it's show time and different rates of the ticket.

Also cinema hall owner has to hire large number of staff at the counter for selling tickets. Enquiries about movie, etc.

It may also happen that the customer couldnt book the desired movie ticket that was willing to watch because may be seats are not available or the movie was down.

Proposed System

In order to overcome the existing problem we are making this system as online where every information about any cinema hall, movie, theater and rates can get online which helps the customer to get better facilities at his own computer, laptop or mobile.

Now after that to book the ticket from the website user first need to Register them self and create Login Id . After successfully Login user able to Book Movie Tickets , Promotional Tickets and Concert Tickets. The smart feature of this web site is that it will give flexibility to the user or customer to pay bills online or at the window counters. So it will directly attract those user who have no Internet Banking facility or Debit card.

Now by online ticket booking the customer can easily find nearest Movie Halls and book ticket .

Also there is less chance the customer couldnt found movie ticket because customer can book advance movie ticket.

Features

A Customer should be able to-

Choose city where he/she want to see the Movie.

Choose the film which he/she wish to book tickets.

Query the films on show for one weeks (Only one weeks advance reservation is available) should be there.

Able to choose the seats which are available for a certain class.

Can select seats from different classes as well for same show and screen also.

Before buying tickets he/she can go through the reviews about the movies and can make the decision.

Able to collect tickets at the counter presenting the unique id provided to him/her at the time of booking.
