Hard to believe that the Symfony framework first saw the light of

day 12 years ago (already!).

Initially created for SensioLabs’ internal needs, Fabien Potencier,

Symfony project manager and SensioLabs CEO, decided quickly

to turn the framework into Open Source.

Since 12 years, the Community created around Symfony, grew up

so much…

The framework is downloaded more than 10,000,000 times monthly!

The SymfonyLive and SymfonyCon purpose is to physically gather
