It is our intention to not overmanagethe cattle, to carry unneeded condition, or to be the heaviest –rather our goal is to raise the cattle in a sensible manner thatmake economical sense with a commercial responsibility to ourcustomers. Our priorities include good feet, correct structure,easy keeping cattle with the females carrying strong uddersand boasting fertility and longevity!

BW: This value predicts the difference in avg. birth weight ofa bull’s calves compared to breed averages.

WW: Indicates the ability of a sire’s calves to grow from birthto weaning (expressed in pounds).

yW: Growth from birth to yearling (expressed in pounds)

milk: A reflection of the milking ability of a bull’s daughters. Itcompares the difference in gain between birth to wean-ing of a bull’s daughter’s calves compared to thecalves from daughters of other sires evaluated.

tm: Calculated by using 1/2 WW + Milk. Predicts weaning weight on a bull’s daughter’s calves.

EPD’s are predictions on how each bull rates against hisown contemporary group and the rest of the breed. EPD’sevaluate group averages and offspring’s performance, how-ever they cannot predict individual performance or weights. Breeding guArAntee: All cattle are sound and right and sellas outlined by the “Responsible Breeders” policy. Any problems orconcerns need to be sent in within 6 months to us for consideration.No bull will be refunded for more than actual purchase price and noanimal subject to mistreatment or injury will be refunded. In theevent of any unlikely dispute, the regular terms and conditions, stan-dard with the Canadian Aberdeen Angus Association shall apply.

inSurAnCe: Ownership risk to purchaser commences when theAuctioneer’s hammer falls Livestock coverage will be available atthe clerk’s desk from the appointed representatives on Sale Day, orfrom the sale management at any time.

termS oF SALe: Are cash or cheque at par, payable to Clerksof the Sale on Sale Day. U.S. Funds will be accepted at the currentrate of exchange. No release will be given until satisfactory settle-ment has been made. We reserve the right to withhold animalsfrom export shipment for whom payments have not been receivedprior to departure times.

ALL PerSonS who attend the Sale do so at their own risk andthe Owners and Sale Staff assume no liability, legal or otherwise,for property loss or for any accidents that may occur.

PurCHASer’S riSk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time.

regiStrAtion: A certificate of Registry or Recordation, whereapplicable, duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for eachanimal after settlement has been made.

diSPuteS: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened betweenthe parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be theperson from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final.
