Evaluation of Performance: The course grade will be based on weekly homework assignments of three problems each, two mid-term exams, and one final exam. Weekly Homeworks: 20% (Due every Thursday at the end of class) First Midterm Exam: 20% (Thursday, February 14) Second Midterm Exam: 20% (Thursday, March 21) Final Exam: 40% (Tuesday, April 30: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon) Academic Honor Code: Students are expected to uphold the Academic Honor Code published in the Florida State University Bulletin and the Student Handbook. The first paragraph reads as follows: The Academic Honor System of Florida State University is based on the premise that each student has the responsibility to: uphold the highest standards of academic integrity in the student’s own work, refuse to tolerate violations of academic integrity in the University community, and foster a high sense of integrity and social responsibility on the part of the University community.
