A Few Words From Our President Summer is here and we are having a lots of changes to our weather - Since we all love to party, let’s just put on our dance shoes and enjoy a cool and fun afternoon with our friends at our super dance club . Where can you go every Sunday for such a low amount and have a such great time?
On our first Sunday of July we will be celebrating Independence Day by wishing Happy Birthday to our wonderful USA!– so wear your Red, White & blue and win prizes.
Robert & Vicki Palladino will be our beginner dance instructors and on the last Sunday of July (July 30
th) we will
be having an intermediate workshop with Trish Connery Walkup & David Walkup. Don’t miss out as you will learn many new steps. -
Thanks goes to lots of you who bring in your friends & family to join us on our Sunday afternoons. Even tho we have a great Board of Directors to keep our Club running, we could always use a few more volunteers. We can train you – work with you and make you part of our History. Many jobs are small and do not take over your extra time. Check with me anytime and I will help get you started.
Remember – dancing keeps us YOUNG!!
See you at the Club.

June lessons were taught by Larry Armstrong
Kathi Colvin (68) passed away on May 31st, after a medical procedure to repair an ulcer. Kathi was well known in the Border Patrol Community. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis who passed away in 2012. Kathi always arrived early on Sunday afternoon to assist in setting up the tables before dance. A regular winner at our raffle drawings her presence at that “winning” front table is greatly missed.
On June 7th, we lost a longtime member of our club—Ron Ford. When he was very young he performed in the movie “Little Rascals”. He was in the Navy, was an inventor, loved riding hi motor cycle and even helped invent Armor All. He was a good friend to many of our club members and the west coast swing dance world. His daughter wrote “Rest in peace Daddy—you will forever be my favorite dance partner.”. He will be missed by all who knew him.
