Findings: • Unit 4 604 Tyler Ave is an end condo unit • Wrought iron fence is located in front of this unit at sidewalk of University Drive • 8' front yard variance will require removal of large Elm tree, reduces front yard
setback from 30' to 22', 6' of 81 front setback will be open patio w/ arbor • side yard variance will require 6' cncroaclunent (for a 16 ft room) into existing
side yard, leaving 3' side yard • Tyler Place Condominium Homeowners' Association has approved the addition • Per Architectural renderings, new facia fronting University Drive will be
enhanced with arbor and French doors • Front addition is consistent with orienting unit to street (University Drive)
Recommendations: • Compensation for loss of tree should be required with planting of2- trees 4" dbh
in vicinity of improvements • Roof gutters should be added on East side addition

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to all parties in interest, and citizens of the City of
Oxford, Mississippi, that Swift and Herbert Rogers has filed an application for an
8ft front yard variance and a 6ft side yard variance. Said property is located at 604
Tyler Avenue, Oxford, Mississippi. Section 500 & 510 of Appendix A, Zoning, of
the Code of Ordinances. A public hearing regarding said application will be held at
5:00 p.m., in the courtroom of the Oxford City Hall on June 9, 2003. Any person
interested in said application may appear in person or agent. Written comments
regarding said application will be received by the City until the time of said
hearing.
