of trade disputes and land disputes
-two European powers (the French and British) were trying to gain control for North America
-Britain and their allies the colonists won, but there were still some problems with native Americans because colonists were taking their land
-Britain created the Proclamation of 1763 to stop settlers from taking more land and moving over the Appalachian mountains
Taxes-England started taxing the colonists to
pay for the French and Indian War, because they England was in debt from the war
