The Himalayan
Yoga Tradition
To awaken the divine flame within
each human being, they first need to
know their true Self.
The Himalayan Mountains have
been the home of sages for millen-
nia. These great sages lived and
passed on the knowledge of yogic
teachings to disciples in an unbro-
ken lineage since the Vedic period.
The lineage of Himalayan masters
goes back thousands of years and
continue to instruct and inspire to
this day.
This Yoga is far beyond the mere
physical presence, but a vast store
house to guidance to life. We
humbly represent this lineage.

edge and teachings of Swami Rama

Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga describes any of the physical
practices of yoga.
The word Hatha is a compound of the
words Ha and Tha meaning sun and
moon.
Hatha represents complementary ener-
gies: hot and cold (fire and water, follow-
ing similar concept as yin-yang), male
and female, positive and negative.
We teach the middle path to students in
general, and those who are prepared for
higher stages ofs learning have the op-
portunity to pursue advanced practices.
Meditation helps people in their daily
lives to live in the world and yet remain
above.
Meditation
The Meditation
Research Institute
The Meditation Research Institute aims
to understand the psycho-neuro-physiol-
ogy correlates of consciousness and es-
pecially brain dynamics during
meditation.
We believe that through the interaction
of meditation and science, a thorough
understanding of consciousness will
emerge.
