Swachh Bharat Mission – MOUD Broad Outline

• The Ministry of Urban Development has developed an interactive web based platform where the current status of the mission could be regularly updated.

• It will capture existing infrastructure as well as proposed infrastructural needs of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) as well help in monitoring of ongoing cleaning activities in cities/towns.

• Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) can access Swachh Bharat Mission Urban Online from homepage of Ministry of Urban Development http://moud.gov.in or can visit the site directly at http://moudulbs.nic.in

• All ULBs may send an email to sbm-mud@nic.in by uploading a letter from Chief Executive Officer forwarding the name & designation, email & Mobile Number of the nominated officer for getting Login & password for Swachh Bharat Mission Online which will be made available from 29th

Dec 2014.

• Once a ULB gets a login, they can do master list updation for entering / editing

Ward List from Master List Upation submenu , they can also add/edit Chairperson name.

• ULBs will be allowed to enter data of Existing Sanitation Infrastructure from 5th of January 2015. Till that time they may see the draft format at the site mentioned and prepare datasheets for wardwise data entry.

• ULBs will be allowed to submit Daily Monitoring Data from 19th January 2015. For this ULBs may go to the Master List Update menu on Swachh Mission Urban Online and generate Wardwise Login giving Name, Designation & Mobile Number of the Ward Inspector.

• Password will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number. LoginId so created will be like the loginID existing for the ULB with 3 digits of the Ward Number appended eg: if ULB loginID is NDMC then Ward level LoginID can be NDMC001, NDMC002 etc..

• Planned Sanitation Infrastructure updation will be made available in Feb 2015. Any other Information will be placed on the website of MOUD.

• Urban Indian Citizens will be allowed to file application online for building Individual House Hold Toilets.

• The Application will ask for Aadhar Number of the applicant and his Bank details for Electronic Transfer of Incentive Amount in two instalments.

• An Application Id will be generated by which the applicant can load his scanned photo or any other documents required to be uploaded.

• On Submission the application ( after required documents are uploaded) will be available to Urban Local Body (ULB) & State Nodal Agency (SNA) Simultaneously.

• ULB can verify and SNA can approve the application in which ever order. An application will be considered passed on both verification & approval.

• Rejection of an application by any agency will be considered final rejection. • Applicant can see the status of his application anytime by entering his

application ID. • Further workflow for disbursal of funds from Central to State agencies to be

designed on availability from MOUD.
