The partition is removable. With the partition on, the tray accommodates a wallet or purse and 2 x 500ml drink bottles. Removing the partition, the tray is the right size for CD’s.

Proximity sensors detect objects behind the vehicle. A buzzer and onscreen display warns the driver of any obstructions that might not be visible.

The new Baleno is powered by the highly efficient K14B VVT engine, renowned for low NVH, lower emissions and exceptional reliability. The intake VVT, cylinder head, and piston crowns are designed to boost thermal efficiency and fuel economy.

The structure of the platform and all its parts have been newly designed and a weight reduction of approximately 30kg (compared to Swift) has been achieved just in the platform alone.
