The concept of this design comes from the observation on growing plant. As we know the phyllotaxis of most natural plants, is acting as the basic combination of leaves, in which way leaves on the stem are forming a rela-tively stable pattern, which results in the maximum utilization of sunshine. It is really interesting to apply nature's configuration to architectural space, in order to get sufficient light and air for each independent studio space. At the same time, people can also enjoy the cheerful and comfortable work en-vironment.
The whole building simulates the plant growth rule, spreading out from the underground. Traffic flow begins with the sinked entrance to the un-derground exhibition hall. Then the staircases leads users up to each studio and the slope outside. This project uses ‘growth’ not only for programmatic organization, but also for contextual and environmental consideration, fully embodies the spirit of the human and the nature harmonious coexistence.

STREET HUBS2 The site of this project located in the Suzhou ancient city, surrounded with plenty of old and traditional residential buildings. After several times of site visit, the contradiction between supply and demand of living facil-ities, especially for elderly people, has huge influence on me.
Taking all complicated factors into account, it might be impossible to build the typical construction, like comprehensive service center, as there is no enough space for it. How to reclaim the city vigor, build commu-nity center which gives priority to the elder-ly, and solve the social problem?
The conception of “street hubs” came up with my mind, which is using the narrow spaces among the site to build several small-scaled community stations. Through this kind of reuse and reconstruction, eventually all people will be convenient to the nearest center as much as possible.

The theme of this project aims at developing an mixed-use urban complex. Program includes retail, commercial center, hotel, high-rise residential tower, underground subway transit center as well as certain numbers of pub-lic plaza.
Based on the study of urban complex and the needs around the site, the concept of ‘Shan-Shui’ City was se-lected, which make the design focus on the exploration of the relationship among ‘mountains, valley and caves’. While considering the harmonious operation between circulation situation and the building itself, this project also provides an opportunity to rethink the value of ap-plying ecological principles and landscape design into architecture throughout entire design process, in order to increse the spatial flexibility.

The project takes on the problem of the modern villa, by di-viding space with objects rather than partitions or structure. The objects of the house are to become the main focus of the space, providing the necessities of domestic living spaces and releasing themselves from the limitation of traditional building arrangement.
The house demands an introverted focus, constantly driving the view of the clients towards the center through the use of a nine square organizational system, and additionally, reframes the view of the occupants in order to highlight the graphic qualities of the objects.

WATER5Qing Dynasty painter Xu Yang's "Prosperous Su-zhou" gets us into the ancient Suzhou two hundred years ago. We can almost hear the sound of bustling bazaars and water flowing. From a historical view, restore the sight Suzhou ancient city by modeling the combination of buildings and the relationship be-tween constructions, street and water in the concep-tual model.
The updated Tianci District focuses on the perfor-mance of urban waterfront space. Make water as a boundary of different functional areas, and contact with the entire urban space.

Chongqing 1862 cultural district is a special project which can represent Chongqing’s iconic features-- the mountain, the river and the special history during WWII.
The design strategy we used here is to extend the most recognizable indoor spaces in Chongqing municipality outside and integrate with Chongq-ing’s typical topography. The space we extend here are the bombproof shelter space and the arsenal space. The bombproof shelter space will be regenerated outside and combined with the mountain and the typical arsenal structure will be regenerated to form a plaza which links the district to the Jialing river. The new defined spac-es will be used as exhibition and museum,as well as public open space, which will attract more at-tention of Chongqing style modern architecture.

The abri space is an important symbol of the city. However, during the change of time, these shelters gradually lost its function, leaving only the old, dark and wet space.The historical exhibition area design try to reveal the legacy of the region as well as retain the characteristics of space based on the of spatial and functional reconstruction.
