EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Royalton Negril Resort, Hideaway At Royalton Negril & Grand Lido Negril have shown continuousimprovements as it relates to Supporting Human Rights & Environmental Best Practices in our Resorts.

Our Team has been working towards ensuring all Sustainability targets are met, all hosts are trainedon how they can assist the company with better managing their Environmental Impact, through ourongoing Energy Saving Campaign, Proper Waste Management and Supporting the Local Communitythrough various outreach programs.

Royalton Negril, Hideaway At Royalton Negril & Grand Lido Negril aims to improve & maintain ourSustainability initiatives for both the present & the future.

This Sustainability report corresponds to 9 months of the year, due to COVID-19 Pandemic, ourResorts were closed April 2020 – June 2020.

The report:• Compares Annual Energy Consumption• It helps to visualize the executed projects• Reports on the progress of internal environmental activities

SUSTAINABILITY POLICYAt Royalton Luxury Resorts (RLR) we are committed to Sustainable Development through the operation of our hotels and

resorts, across each of the destinations where we operate, in a responsible manner and in accordance with the following

principles:

•Ensure hotels and resorts are compliant with applicable environmental legislation and regulations in each country we

operate.

•Respect and conserve the environment through the implementation of best environmental practices and protection of the

local flora and fauna.

•Ensure the correct management and final disposal of waste through recycling and reuse.

•Promote conservation activities such as beach cleanups, mangrove cleanups and protection of wildlife (where

applicable).

•Implement awareness campaigns to ensure the protection of resources through staff training.

•Preserve national and cultural identity through respect for traditions, strengthening the sense of national pride and sharing

its value abroad.

•Respect the local community by fostering a support system and building relationships to assist them as much as possible.

•Work continuously to advance RLR’s internal management and sustainable initiatives to improve environmental

performance.

•Promote the involvement of stakeholders such as employees, guests, suppliers and suppliers in RLR’s sustainable

culture, communicating the best practices implemented.

At Blue Diamond Resorts we are aware that creating and maintaining a sustainable culture involves an evolving

improvement process to establish our long- term commitment.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Good environmental practices aredefined as those actions that seek toreduce the negative environmentalimpact caused by activities andprocesses through changes andimprovements in the organization anddevelopment of actions.

Proper Waste Management isimportant because it is better for theenvironment. It minimizes the amountof waste that ends up in landfill andtransform it into valuable resources.

The separation of waste ensures thatrecyclable materials are reused whenmaking new products. E.g. newpackaging are made from plastic:- newspaper is made from waste paper- bags are made from organic waste

Earth HourIncrease awareness as it relates to conserving nature & climate change among staff & guests.

For one hour lights were turned off in all main areas, candles were lit during this time, for every 60 seconds a candle was blownout by a guest.

Monthly Beach Clean-up

Contributing to bettering our environment, each monthvolunteers from various departments participate in MonthlyBeach Clean-up.

All waste were removed from the shore &properly disposed of, during this initiative teammembers become knowledgeable as to howimportant is it to keep our ocean, beaches &environment clean. A total of five (4) 38” X 60”garbage bags of general waste were collectedfrom the beach.

International Coastal Clean-up Day

Volunteers from our team participated in a Coastal Clean-upat the Community Center / Beach Park in Negril.

A total of 10 38” X 60” Garbage bags of generalwaste was extracted & 2 38” X 60” Garbage bagsof recyclable waste was extracted.

World Recycling DayAwareness was raised among staff & campaign for separationof recyclable waste was done.

A 25% increase in recyclable waste was seen..

Donation To PublicSchools

To give back to the children that are most in need duringthe pandemic.

School Supplies in addition to tabletswere donated to children at two schools inthe neighboring communities.

Royalton Negril, Hideaway At Royalton Negril & Grand Lido Negril aims toimprove on its sustainability practices by 75% for this coming year 2021.

Sustainability targets have been put in place to ensure Environmental BestPractices are followed and continuous training that aids in reinforcements ofSustainable practices among members of staff.

Royalton Negril, Hideaway At Royalton Negril & Grand Lido Negril iscommitted to maintaining our code of conduct as it relates to protectingnatural habitats, wildlife and a zero tolerance on sexual exploitation of minorsboth in our Resorts & Local Communities.
