Printing ReductionsTwo years ago the Center Operations Logistics(JB) Division was sending hardcopies to thoserequiring JBrsquos Hurricane Standard OperatingProcedure This document was updated andshared annually via hardcopy and in advance ofHurricane season They implemented anelectronic system and went from 20 hardcopies tonow only 4 hardcopies This cost approximately$18000 for every four hardcopies provides a totalsavings of $72000 each year by not printing Nextyear they plan to print the remaining four copiesversus using the print shop which will increase thissavings to a total of $900 annually Kudos to JulieHardcastle for being part of this change in PrintingReductions Share your ideas and impact with jsc-sustainabilitymailnasagov

Printing ReductionsTwo years ago the Center Operations Logistics(JB) Division was sending hardcopies to thoserequiring JBrsquos Hurricane Standard OperatingProcedure This document was updated andshared annually via hardcopy and in advance ofHurricane season They implemented anelectronic system and went from 20 hardcopies tonow only 4 hardcopies This cost approximately$18000 for every four hardcopies provides a totalsavings of $72000 each year by not printing Nextyear they plan to print the remaining four copiesversus using the print shop which will increase thissavings to a total of $900 annually Kudos to JulieHardcastle for being part of this change in PrintingReductions Share your ideas and impact with jsc-sustainabilitymailnasagov
