Loading factor = 1.41. Only when it is 1.75, the need to
provide more buses arise. So we can conclude thatthere are enough buses dispatched in one hour (offpeak hours)
Revenue for a bus per day in the 6 kms considered is
Rs 7,110. So we can conclude that they make asufficient income.
Considering the above two statements we can
conclude that the Passengers and the operators arein reasonable equilibrium in the considered region(off peak hours)

Improvements for the SLIIT halt is recommended.
Buses stop at any point in that 20m stretch
Improvements to the Kaduwela Fair Halt (Malabe toKaduwela)
Improvements to the Malabe Bus Stand (Malabe to
Kaduwela)
The value of time lost for a single person travelling
from Kaduwela to Malabe is Rs 8.90. In the bigPicture this is a significant lost

In comparing the loading levels of CTB buses and Private buses,
it is observed that, in a high proportion of the Private busesthey have a loading level > 1 which is the opposite in CTBbuses
- Private buses stop at places which are not halts
- More concerned about the revenue they get thanthe service to the passengers
- Maybe CTB buses are not concerned about therevenue they generate for the government
