Surround Sound5.1 Surround Sound Package
The Surround Sound Package includes prewire and installation of �ve 6-1/2" Pro�cient LCR C660,
in-ceiling home theater speakers in a (3) front, (2) rear con�guration along with one 16/2 audio
cable and one RG-6 routed from the media niche to the JWE predetermined
subwoofer prewire location. The surround sound speakers are run directly
to the media niche and are terminated on a Surround Sound Connection
Center Wall Plate for easy connection to your surround sound equipment.
(Please note that surround sound speakers are operated separately from
Room of Stereo or Distributed Audio Systems.)
Pro�cient LCR speakers are designed for precise sound
in your home theater environment with the tweeter bridge
�xed at a 15-degree angle. The 6-1/2” graphite woofer
and 1” pivoting aluminum dome tweeter provide incredible
power handling. These surround sound speakers feature
125-watts of power handling and have a frequency
response of 36-22kHz with sensitivity ranked at 92dB.
Quality-built, of course. Exactly what you’d expect from
a premium brand like Pro�cient.
See your individual plan’s layout for speaker placement. Our Technicians will determine proper acoustic positioning of the speakers withinyour Family/Living Room. Custom locations may be available. Check with your builder representative or your JWE Options Representative.Connection to and programming of homebuyer supplied equipment is not included in the package. Designed to support the most recent Dolby 5.1 standards, the In-ceiling package provides the most discreteand possibly best sounding solution for surround sound audio, as many of today's speakers featuredirectional tweeters and excellent sound dynamics. This prewire package includes a 16/2 stranded speakercable run to (3) front ceiling speaker locations, (2) rear channel ceiling speaker locations.
All speaker cabling originates from the Family Room/ Living Room designated media center. At time ofprewire, JWE will nail an EZ Cap ring to your ceiling joist system at each ceiling speaker location.When you move in to your home, you will see a blank EZ Cap plate on your ceiling at each speaker location,with cable accessible behind each one. While this cabling is easily accessible, your speaker installation maybe tricky and therefore recommended to be performed by an audio professional. As the EZ Cap is nailed to aceiling joist, the cap will need to be unscrewed and removed at the time of speaker installation.
Subwoofer prewire is included and consists of (1) 16/2 and (1) RG-6 from media to pre-determined subwoofer prewire location.
Please note that neither JWE nor your builder is responsible for your speaker installation or the possible required repair of drywall resulting from the installation process. The P-ring placed is for wire access only. It is not structurally designed to support any weight and you must not hang speakers from it.
