Lastnight,Ireceivednumerousphonecalls,textmessages,emails,
messagesfromconstituentswhosecommuteswentfromthirtyminutesto
constituentcalledmewhenshefinallygothomeat1:00a.m.afterspendin
1betweenBeaconHillandHyblaValley. Thisexperienceraisesseriousco
Departmentsreadinessandresponsiveness.
WhileIunderstandthattheweatherwasasurprise,afterspeaking
CountyPolicelastnight,itwasapparentthattheDepartmentwasrepeate
dangerous
road
conditions
on
U.S.
1
in
Hybla
Valley,
police
were
required
trafficforhoursduetothedangerousconditions,butotherroadsseemto
prioritized.
