Belmont Little League is pleased to be launching its sponsorship efforts for the 2017 season. About Belmont Little League Belmont Little League is a community-based organization that brings the diamond sports of baseball and tee-ball to families in our town. A chartered member of Little League International, the league operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit, operated by volunteers from the community. The league offers opportunities for children to learn our great pastime and provides enhanced playing opportunities for more advanced players. Sponsorship and Fundraising Donations While a nominal fee for participation is charged to families of players, the league relies on donations to operate the program and keep up with facility needs, field maintenance, and uniforms. These funds are raised from local community donations and sponsorships. Sponsors receive recognition dependent the level of commitment. SPONSORSHIP FORM This agreement between the Belmont Little League (Tax ID # 81-4306580) (hereinafter, “Local Little League”) and

________________________________________ (hereinafter, “Sponsor”) is for the 2017 Season.

Sponsorship of a team in the Local Little League must be, for the Sponsor, out of a sense of duty to help the community. While Sponsorship does

afford some benefits (detailed below), the higher purpose is to help the Local Little League impart the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and

fair play to the children of our community, so that they may someday use these values in becoming good citizens.

Sponsorship of a team in the Local Little League does not permit the Sponsor to have any rights or responsibilities in the operation of the Local

Little League or any team in the Local Little League, nor does the Sponsor have any rights or responsibilities in the selection of managers,

coaches or players for any team in the Local Little League. Nothing herein shall make us partners or members of a joint venture. The Sponsor and

the Local Little League are independent contractors with respect to one another, and neither shall have any authority to represent or bind the other

in any manner or to any extent whatsoever, except as specified herein.

The Sponsor shall have the right to use the following term in advertisements, posters, brochures, newsletters, etc.: “Sponsor of a team in the

Belmont Little League.” Sponsorship does NOT give the Sponsor the right to use the word “official” in connection with its Sponsorship. Any

reference to the Sponsorship under this agreement must make it clear that the Sponsorship is with a team or teams in the Local Little League only,

and NOT for Little League Baseball. Use of the “keystone logo” or any logo of the Little League Baseball is prohibited, unless permission is

expressly granted in writing by Little League Baseball International.

We are trying to setup the Concession Stand for the 2017 season but don't have much equipment. We are looking to buy a popcorn machine, pizza holding cabinet, nacho cheese dispenser, and a hot dog roller.

NEW PA System for Main Field

The Main Field has been without a working PA System for almost 3 years. Not being able to hear the batters' names as them come up to the plate, not hearing the calls from the umpires repeated, it just makes for a less than great experience.

New Bleachers for Main Field

We are looking to replace the wood bleachers at the main field and then salvage and repair the best of the wood bleachers for the other fields. Eventually it would be nice to have new Aluminum Bleachers at all the fields.

Field Tractor

Keeping 3 fields in decent shape can be a rough job. Not having the right equipment makes it even harder. We are looking to get a tractor to cut the grass, have a scoop to move and spread dirt and field mix, and be able to touch up the fields in between games.

Today's equipment is made to much higher standard than that of 5 years ago. It would be great to be able to get each team a new set of helmets, catcher gear, 3 wooden bats, and proper storage containers for all of this. As we move into a new phase at Belmont we must raise the bar on safety and making sure our players have what they need to compete against other Leagues.

For the last year the Main Field Scoreboard has not worked. We now have a sponsor to replace that one, but what about our other 2 fields? Imagine a complex with 3 fields equipped with scoreboards so the fans always know the score and inning.

Endowment Fund

Belmont Little League has long a historical past. We must do all we can to ensure it lives on for many more years to come. We are starting an Endowment Fund. Any funds donated to this account will not be spent. Each year the Board will withdraw only the interest and earnings from the account. That means the principal never gets depleted. Leaving a legacy to help future boards balance their budget,
