collective reports. Definition, examples and the functionality of the system seen by the supplier, will be explained on the following slides.

• A collective report is a summary of sample reports

– of one supplier

– with the same responsible engineer

– with the same “base part number” (main/middle/sub group), but with different indices or colour codes

– where the same changes are made (this might be as well parts, on which the same change is sampled)

• One sample report will be defined, created and edited as Master Report. The other sample reports will be assigned to the Master Report. The Master Report keeps a history of processing and accepting of the Sub Reports concerning status changes, notes, comments to the total note, signature, change of plant / POC and so on.

• At the moment, the function Collective Report can only be done VW Group internally.
