We work with the DoD, FEMA, state, and local authorities to supply the essentials needed for survival to storm-ravaged regions, offering end-to-end logistical support.

OUR HISTORY OF EMERGENCY RELIEF SUPPORT• Delivery of emergency supplies such as tarps, baby food, water, and diapers during Hurricane Katrina • Over 80 truckloads of MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) and drinking water for victims in the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav • Emergency supplies deployed after tropical storms Harvey and Irma • Extended support for rebuilding Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Through our network of warehouses and distribution centers, we stock over one million items from 11,000 suppliers, including thousands of products necessary for emergency preparation, response, and recovery. Our supply chain includes numerous manufacturers of essential supplies needed in responses to fires, floods, hurricanes, winter storms, tornadoes, and other state-of-emergency situations. Because we hold agreements with several manufacturers of the same product, we can often rely on large shipments of products sustained for at least 60 days. HOW DOES NOBLE SUPPORT EMERGENCY REQUESTS? We leverage our national footprint and years of experience to shorten readiness timelines and enhance effectiveness. Noble POC engages with the Director of Operations and immediately puts Noble’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) into action. a. The Noble ERT consists of a Purchasing Manager, an Operations Manager, Customer Service Representatives, and a Logistics Manager. b. The Noble ERT analyzes requirements; establishes an order site to track all activities, assesses our inventory, and develops a procurement strategy based on the data. Our procurement strategy includes drawing down stock, contacting in-region vendors to determine available stock levels, and, when necessary, reaching out to manufacturers to begin production. 3. The Noble ERT next puts into action our three-prong approach to surge requirements, which allows us the flexibility to respond to any emergency request. a. Draw from the inventory in our warehouses to ship products immediately to our customers via expedited land or air transportation. b. Customers have access to complete order visibility, including order status, tracking, account history, and customized reporting features of the NASPO ValuePoint e-commerce website.

Logistics Capabilities: In addition to arranging deliveries of inventory from our warehouse locations, Noble’s Logistics Specialists work closely with manufacturers and suppliers around the country to ship directly to our customers. By using direct vendor deliveries, we avoid cross-docking. Direct shipping by suppliers shortens the logistics pipeline and maintains in-region inventory levels. We can supply products within 48 hours and continue the supply sustainment and support for our customers throughout the relief and recovery process.

Communications: Noble’s Emergency Management Team (ERT), comprised of the Purchasing Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Service Reps, and the Logistics Manager, notifies each customer of our strategy and gives regular updates via Noble’s e-commerce website, email, and phone calls to keep our customer informed. Operations Status AssessmentWhen disaster strikes, our number one priority is to make sure our employees are safe. Once we have confirmation of the status of our employees and operations within the disaster area, we determine the recovery steps to make sure we can support our customers.

Emergency Response TeamOur emergency management procedures include the formation of an Emergency Response Team (ERT) dedicated to assess the situation. The ERT quickly formulates a logistical strategy for supply and sustainment. The location of Noble’s ERT members throughout the United States ensures that if one area of the country is affected, we are still able to deploy the remaining team members into action.

Multiple Fulfillment Locations & Vendor Drop ShippingSimilarly, if any of Noble’s Distribution and Fulfillment Centers are affected, we can utilize the unaffected Distribution Centers and Fulfillment Centers located throughout the country. We also put our established vendors into action to drop ship direct to the affected customers.
