WCC 600 The Kongsberg Maritime Watch Calling C600 (WCC 600) is a system required to run an unmanned engine room. The WCC 600 unit is equipped with a 5.7” LCD touch display for presentation and navigation. Communication with the main computer in the K-Chief Alarm System is via high speed communication network (CAN). A redundant solution with automatic changeover to another main computer in case of failure can be provided.

The Watch Call unit is intended for installation in:

• Bridge where the main function will be to indicate engine room alarms, and to indicate/accept the transfer of machine watch responsibility to and from the bridge.

• Engineer on duty’s cabin and in the public quarters where the main function will be to indicate engine room alarms while in bridge control.

Functions:

• Indicating and accepting the transfer of machine watch responsibility to/from the bridge • Call the on-duty engineer at his quarters at any time • Self-check function with “system failure” indication • Buzzer, sound off and test function • Alarm Summary • Date & Time indication • Fire Alarm (optional)

Lever Telegraph Unit (LTU11 and LTU11 ME) The Kongsberg AutoChief 600 Lever Telegraph Unit LTU 11 and LTU11 ME is a combined lever type Engine Telegraph and speedset unit enabling the operator on the bridge to be in direct command of the ship by providing speed and rotation control of the main engine. Communication is established between the bridge, the engine control room and local stand via the telegraph system. Communication with the host is via 2 CAN ports. LTU11 ME in addition has isolated outputs, 2 x 4-20 mA for speed set and 2 x digital out for stop position. Functions:-

• Telegraph positions – 11 Telegraph steps from Emergency Astern to Navigation Full via Stop.

• Sub telegraph modes to inform engine crew of state of alert – Finished with engine (FWE), Stand-by, At sea.

• Command Transfer. • Emergency Stop. • Touch Screen Lock. • Wrong Way indicator.
